Competitive price for the area, pleasing ambiance in the pool area at night, friendly staff, great massage therapist
Not all rooms include spots in the interior parking lot (check the fine print), room had a low ceiling and only a single sliding glass door opening onto a tiny underground sitting area, water damage and mold in the bathroom

Lush Indonesian atmosphere/decor, clean and comfortable bedroom with nice view, sympathy of staff members, good breakfast with homemade food, location close to major local attractions (beaches and town's center) and very silent and calm surroundings.
Tacky illumination of common areas (every color of neon lights everywhere!), limited parking space, wrong type of accomodation allocated upon check-in (rapidly solved by receptionist by transfering to another room), isolated location on top of hill giving sense of unsafety, specially at night.

What a wonderful place, with amazing staff, breakfast, and accommodation. They made everything possible to make our stay as best as it could be. I am so happy I stayed at Aquabarra. I am coming back in March 2020 for my own wedding in Buzios and will for sure tell my main guests to stay at this wonderful place.
