The lobby and the theme is different and fun. Also the bathroom is a decent size in comparison to other places we stayed at in Europe.
We were given a room that faces the stairwell which wasn’t a problem until we realized the AC didn’t work and we had to open the window to the stairwell. The first night we were too tired to do anything. The second night we called the lobby around 9:30PM and told them there was no remote control for the AC and it didn’t seem to be working. We were told they were too busy and would come up in about 30 minutes. We waited 50 mins and called back and no one answered. About ten minutes later someone came up and dropped off a remote and left. We tried to turn on the AC for 30 minutes with the remote provided. It would turn on and off and it didn’t seem to be working properly at all. My boyfriend went downstairs to get some help and all they said was that there was nothing the could do until the next day. We slept with the window to the stairwell open which wasn’t enough since only one side opened. Around 8AM there were really loud construction noises coming from the stairwell as well as loud conversations. It was too hot to close the window and too loud to sleep in after a long day of walking around exploring the city. It’s also away for the train stations and city center. I’d recommend something closer to city center if staying for one night. Also definitely verify all amenities before unpacking and settling in.
Why I liked most about this hotel - his colours everywhere, if in elevator, rooms decoration, even toilet paper. Hotel is in walking distance from metro station Luise in a quiet location. Room was spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom had floor heating which I appreciated in rainy Brussels. Staff very friendly and helpful.
There could be closing wardrobe and small fridge. The air condition was blowing only cold air, I haven´t find out how to turn it to warm. Rest was great
Nice hotel, modern
Location, walls dirty, needs repainting, not enough plugs.
Good location although uphill from station and wheeling a suitcase over cobbles and tramlines not easy!
The photos of the hotel show is as bright and funky but of all the many colours we got a brown room!
Located in a quiet community and is convenient to take subway or walk to many sites of the city, breakfast was good and I had good stay here
