What a beautiful hotel set in a lovely quiet part close to the centre. The rooms were beautiful and the staff were so attentive and helpful, nothing was to much trouble at all. We loved the ambience and the relaxed vibe, and felt very at home. Our family room was huge with a separate sleeping area for my son, and a HUGE shower room (which would have lended itself to a lovely big bath, but the shower was great. We would definitely come back again
Nothing at all (although a bath in the huge bathroom would have been the icing on the cake!)
Breakfast was excellent. We had to leave early on the last day so they put on the breakfast early for us. They were so nice! Hotel is right on a canal and they have a quiet area behind the hotel where you can sip wine by the canal, in the shade of the trees. Easy walking distance to all the sights but away from the hordes of tourists. Great location!
This is our second stay at this hotel and it was as charming as the first time. It's definitely worth paying a little more for the room upgrade - the difference is noticeable in terms of lux feel, but the basic room was more than comfortable for our short stay. The breakfast is great with a good selection of pastries, cheeses, breads, fruit etc; and it's a very comfortable walk from the hotel to almost anywhere else you'd like to get to in Bruges.
Location was very good, parking in the public car park was easy and reasonably priced. Breakfast was ample. Good decor and a nice quiet location.
Great design. Perfect place just minutes away from the sights. On the canal.
