That it was in Branson
Couldn’t get a spoon or fork during the night hours and the staff didn’t inform us of all the activities they had available. We were not impressed with their offering we visibly noticed and were completely unaware of the extras and it was the least impressive Westgate property we’ve yet to stay at. Even the heating unit in the room was super loud and rattling
Horrible fee for just having a pet there
Astronomical fee charged for merely having a pet accompany you in the room. 170 dollars no matter what. Big dog or small cat.
Looks nice from the outside.
When we arrived we were pressured by staff to come listen to info on a time share. When we got to the room our key wouldn't work so my husband had to go back twice before security showed up to open the door with no apologies. Then our room smelled so bad we requested another room. This is coming from a family that doesn't send food back at a restaurant. Never have I felt the need to write a review, we were very disappointed.
The staff only.
The staff was awsome! Although we didn't get the room we reserved with 2 queen bends we got a king size bed that we didn't want insted. on top of that the power went out around 5am which made eveything impossible from showering to getting around the room very disappointed! The room looked really old needs updating deffently!
Nice entertainment amenities for kids. Nice to have a convenience store on site.
Cannot stand timeshare pitches! While they let you decline going to their "complimentary & informative" breakfast, they give you a little hassle about it. Room was stinky and a little worn out but overall appeared clean. I probably wouldn't be back because I've found similar deals to other places in region w/o timeshare annoyance.
Not the best experience.
Price was okay, but great. Lobby at Main Lodge was nice. We didn't get to try out the amenities, but I'm sure the kids would have loved them.
The check in was flawed, the rooms were filthy. They didn't look anything like the pictures on the Web. They didn't have what we booked. They couldn't offer any other rooms as they were full. No free WiFi. Sales push for time share and their restaurant. Pretty awful really.
No WiFi, No Hot Water
Indoor pool, free wine & cheese welcome were nice. Kids loved basketball court, shuffleboard, and volleyball
This place does NOT offer free WiFi! You must pay to use internet :( unless you're an owner then it's free, but if you're just renting you get tricked into buying a wifi package when trying to login. No hot water either
Location and nice grounds
Cleanliness. We signed up for a 90 minute presentation because we could get Silver Dollar City tickets at a reduced rate. The sales presentation/time share took 2.5 hours and basically wasted our time and all of the morning. Would not go back.
The beauty and cleanliness of the property and accommodations. The lovely room.
Having to pay for internet use.
Has a lot of things to do.
Room /carpet was musty. Bathroom was tiny and had mold above shower.
We liked the pool and the new activity center
There didn't seem to be enough parking in our parking lot
The location was nice.
Couldn't hardly turn on the faucet in the sink - it took both hands and a struggle - my Mom couldn't turn it on at all. Then, there was water dripping from the ceiling in the bathroom in room 130 where my Mom was staying. Room 200 where they served breakfast was gross! Much too crowded and the food made us sick.
The King Size Bed with all the pillows was very comfortable. The cabin like exterior was appealing.
(1.)They had breakfast for $5.00 in a bleak looking room up up up the hill. It was obvious they served the cheapest sausage, bacon, & canned pineapple they could find. It was gross. I've paid less at other hotels & received a lot better breakfast at no extra cost. (2.) The directions given to find our room were not nearly sufficient. The entrance turned out to be in front of a different bldg., behind a bush, down a flight of wooden stairs, then a path, then on the side of another buildings walkout basement we found a door with our # on it. all of that with one tiny light behind the bush. We were in the dark literally for the whole hunt of our room. The light wasn't even turned on by the door.
Very friendly place with excellent staff. Facilities looked very nice although we did not use much of their facilities.
They had no record of my reservation and checkin took quite a long time. However, they worked it all out satisfactorily.
Location was out away from all the hustle, relaxing and the setting is beautiful. Guard house at entrance gives patrons within a safe and secure feeling.
Breakfast was great and at a out of this world price
that it didn't have a hottub in the pool area
close to the attractions without being on the strip
The room was nice and the price was good.
Our confirmation for the reservation was not there, so it took a long time to get into our room. Then the room we got had someone else in it. The ajoining door had a gap under it. We could hear everything that was going on in the other room and I'm sure they could hear us.
No working hot tub
Great rooms, beautiful setting. Good value for money. Did not know Branson or Westgate before this visit. Found both while browsing the net for a place to visit on route from Nashville to Kanasa City
