Rooms were clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would return just because of the staff. Kids loved the pool.
Toilets took forever to flush. Dryer took 3 hours to dry two towels. Mini golf course was in terrible shape. Needs new beds.
The size of the room and amenities included far exceeded my expectations. We will defiantly come back when we can stay longer. The full kitchen and washer and dryer was unexpected.
Our mattress was literally broken. I slept in a hole.
The miniature golf and basketball court were a plus with our kids.
Kitchen and living space were small for 8 people.
For the most part our room was clean.
The hotel left us a list of housekeeping instructions that we were supposed to complete before check out. I found it rude to ask guests to wash the dishes, pile all the linens on the bathroom floor, and to gather all trash and place it outside the room. This seems like duties that housekeeping should be taking care of. Also, the first thing in the directory is a two page list of the cost of each item in each room that the guest will be charged for it the item is taken. No one checks into a hotel under the assumption that they can steal or break the closet door mirror or coffee pot and not be charged to replace it. I was also double charged for my stay twice and am still trying to resolve the issue with my credit card company. While on vacation, I did not to check into a high quality hotel and be left with a list of chores to do. I also found it insulting that I be told (because we were not asked by the note on the refrigerator, there was no please, just a bulleted list of tasks to complete) to do the job of housekeeping or be charged with a $200 housekeeping fee. There was also a note stating that if we wanted clean towels, we would have to take them to the laundry room ourselves to exchange our dirty ones with clean ones. The directory stated that should we take extra towels from them, housekeeping would note it and we would be charged if they were not found in our room, again like we didn't understand that we would be charged for missing items. Bottom line, dont come here unless you like taking your house duties with you on vacation, constantly being reminded of extra charges you could accrue from not doing your chores or being treated like someone who might steal and break everything in your hotel room.
