9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location in the heart of the ancient area. Armelle is very illuminating, the hotel is clean, the breakfast is served with great attention to details and leaves a quality home feeling.
Cons: The upstairs room has a very low entrance and the lock does not always work properly.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Our charming hostess Armelle provided information and an excellent breakfast. Made us feel very welcome in her home. Located right across from the cathedral, overnight parking is free. Our comfortable room with modern bath was towards the back, church bells were too faint to bother us. Blois is also wonderful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location with parking opposite. Rooms lovely, breakfast room and table exceptional. Owner was very hospitable, helpful with restaurant reservation, delightful stay.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A period house whose exterior belies a stylish interior. A separate breakfast room and visitor lounge overlooks the Cathedral and the Loire can be seen in the middle distance. Breakfast was lovely, fresh fruit, fresh pastries, cereals, cheese and hams. The location is excellent, a steep walk between old houses brings you straight into the central area with the main shopping area and the bars and restaurants.
Cons: No complaints about this property, the Cathedral is a great landmark so you will always find your way home. Needs a lick of paint on the outside shutters etc, to give a better first impression.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful friendly host, nothing was too much trouble. A beautiful home available to the public
Cons: Nothing, it was all perfect
10.0 Excellent

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great and easy! Close to the center! Got help to book 17 pers restaurant and the breakfast fresh!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Well equipped, good location, friendly staff.
Cons: Be aware satnav may say it is pedestrian area, so parking is a little way away at the castle.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Room was not ready--beds were not made; there were no towels in the room. To our surprise, our room was a 4th floor walk up with a very narrow winding stairway that would be inaccessible to many people. There was no one to help carry luggage. There was no front desk and the one staff person, when you could find him, was curt at best in contrast to staff at all of the other places that we stayed. Finally, the dormers meant that one had to be careful where they stood up in the bathroom so you would not bang your head.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was all lovely and a good start to our holiday.
Cons: Shame about the parking but quite understandable considering the location and we were warned
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is superb! They helped us to find someone to deliver our luggage to another city, since we were moving on bikes. Breakfast was also delicious: especially the homemade jam!!
Cons: Nothing

7.1 Good
Pros: Location is good
Cons: I have stayed a few times and I am beginning to think that the decor is becoming old and tired - Consequently it is also becoming overpriced. In the morning, the fire alarm went off, but with the TV on and in the shower, I totally missed to hear it. There are no repeaters in the rooms only in the corridor. If you have poor high tone hearing, this is a real hazard !
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was excellent. We did not take the breakfast but the evening meal was good and the bar area welcoming and spacious. Hotels’ proximity to centre couldn’t have been more convenient. We took their undercover parking for 10€ per day which was perfect. All Reception staff were very helpful and obliging with directions and sorting our forward booking.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The best was the room arrangement in two floor desigen something I have never met in over 40 years.
Cons: The access to parking for large cars was a little tight but that is part of the location.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast, great staff, uncomfortable bed.
Cons: The bed
9.6 Excellent
Pros: we had arranged for a lunch here in september with a car club, superb service and great parking for sports cars which we could reserve.., the manager was very very helpfull, as we had forgot to cancel a room, but they sorted this out, (well done to both the hotel and the manager) would recommend this place for a group due to the parking, the rooms are not large but they are quiet, clean and there's a good breakfast as well, its only ashort walk into the town centre...we will be going again !!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: + Very friendly staff + nice hall with comfortable chairs and tables with options of tea + newspapers + table football + table tennis + good breakfast, especially the orange pressing machine is rare is hotels
Cons: - Despite all extras, these ibis hotels appear always a bit sterile to me - a poor lonely goldfish was "living" in a tiny glass on the reception desk (I am not a radical animal rights fighter, but in this case I felt the wish to free the animal) - number of electricity plugs can get a limiting factor when 2 people want to charge several devises during night - annoying pseudo-news channel were running in infinite loop in the hotel hall
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Correct hotel at correct price at walking distance from city centre.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was OK, on the outskirts of Blois, a bit noisy but would've been very convenient if I had been travelling on autoroutes. Hotel was typical French modern economy hotel, basic but very efficient and clean and the First Inn is very new (2019).
7.5 Good

8.8 Excellent
Pros: clean and tidy hotel , a short walk from the railway station and to the chateau and church for sight seeing close to numerous restaurants and bars and local nightlife
Cons: the secure parking is not part of the hotel premises however it is close by and it reflects well on the hotel that it has made the effort to arrange this facility for guests through a 3rd party car park

Pros: ticks all the boxes for a tourist hotel great to get tickets from recption
Cons: The stairs and dealing with luggage
5.8 Okay
Pros: Great location

7.9 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Blois is actually an underrated location given its history and Hotel Anne de Bretagne is close to the major attractions.

5.8 Okay
Pros: Location was good near the center.
Cons: There is no explanation of how park so it took a while from us to park a car in the different location. When we came to the room it was evening, the only staff in the hotel was a barmen who was a receptionist as well. Very nice lady. There were no amenity in the bathroom at all, except shower gel in the shower cabin the one that you cant removed. WE couldn't even wash our hands, no water in the room. When I asked front desk for the soap iIwas told that it is no late and no soap is available. Definitely not a 4 stars hotel.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast and welcome
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very helpful and the pool was heated and open from 9 to 9. The breakfast was great. Best eggs for ages in a hotel. Arcade games for Kids and wifi very very good.
Cons: Restaurant buffet not open on weekend. We ordered in online. All fine on the end.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Customer orientation of the staff
7.0 Good
Pros: Room was fine as usual in Novotel
Cons: There was no restaurant so had to go looking for one, only offering at hotel was pizza
6.7 Good
Pros: One of the staff members was this awesome guy who was very nice, enthusiastic and clear. He was warm and welcoming and it was a pleasure to deal with him. The hotel itself was ok, rooms were big an comfortable.
Cons: The other staff member was rude, impatient and she told us they couldn’t get us an iron. We were around 8 people going to a wedding so this was very important. You don’t have enough irons in a 4 star hotel? This is completely unacceptable. I also ordered a croque monsieur that was half frozen, the pool was closed and overall this staff member’s attitude just led to a lot of unpleasantness. The towels were also not great and it would have been nice to have extra ones since they dont dry well.
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice location. Nice pool.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, about 10mins walk from beautiful old town. Clean, spacious room, very comfortable bed. Staff were so friendly and attentive. Breakfast the next day was lovely. Would without a doubt stay there again, recommend you stay there if you decide to visit Blois, such good value for money and brilliant staff team there.
Cons: Nothing, catered for all our needs as a family, def stay there again.

3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Good breakfast
Cons: I booked 3 twin beds, but we got 1 twin and 2 double - we were very disappointed.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location near the motorway entrance
Cons: The restaurant is closed Friday night,Saturday night and Sunday night, though this fact is not mentioned on the sign on the road
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner, smiling and affidable. Good price-quality standard
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Rooms basic but adequate. Handicap facilities excellent. Food is first class Service also. All staff are excellent. They care.
7.1 Good
Pros: Nice dinner on the premises
Cons: Difficult to get there as the name of the street (leading to confusion) wasn't recognised by our GPS
7.7 Good
Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was an outstanding value with wonderful selections. We would stay again
5.3 Okay
Pros: The friendly personnel
Cons: Some pieces of furniture and instalations were not in a good shape
5.7 Okay
Pros: Hotel is part of a huge chain of hotels, similar to the travelodge. Arrived after reception was closed and a lady came to greet us. There is an automatic key machine for out of hours arrivals also. easy to find, good access to motorway.About 5 minutes from the town.
Cons: Room was clean if a little out of date, the bathroom was similar to those on the overnight ferries - basic. No a/c, and as we were on ground floor we couldn't leave window open. Ok for an overnight stoppover.
6.7 Good
Pros: Comfortable beds, small but adequate clean bathroom, sound proofed room.
6.7 Good
Pros: good clean budget hotel within easy travelling distance to the town centre
6.4 Good
Pros:
Cons: Mix up with Balladins hotels in Blois. Not clear at all
4.0 Okay
Pros: No traffic noise. Price was reasonable, as it is a "modular" budget hotel.
Cons: Double room reeked of smoke - even the "clean" sheets. We requested both rooms as "non-smoking" but the double room definitely was a very polluted "smoking" room. Better signs are needed, as this hotel had the same signs as another "Balladins" hotel nearby., which was confusing for a foreign tourist. You cannot see the "Blois Nord Villebarou" markings on your hotel.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing at all, the hotel was dreadful. Blois, on the other hand is a lovely town and we will certainly visit again, only stopping at a different hotel
Cons: Did not like room with a flimsy (broken) plastic folding door screening the WC, (You certainly get to know travelling companions!) the staff (lone person), the fact that the reception closed at approx. 20:00, I could go on.
4.8 Okay
Pros:
Cons: We cant find the address from gps. We have to make several rounds. And they finished at 18o'clock, when we arrived at the hotel at mid night, we have to manage all the things ourselves
5.2 Okay
Pros: free parking, the location is easy to find by car, very quite
Cons: Bathrooms don't have a real door. In our bathroom there was also a problem with a tap (they knew the problem, but they give us that room alike). After complaining they changed our room and the problem was solved.
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Brit Hotel Blois - Le Préma in Blois, you'll be in the business district, within a 10-minute drive of Chateau de Blois and Le Carroir. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. Planning an event in Blois? This hotel has facilities measuring 377 square feet (35 square meters), including conference space. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was superb, easily better than the Holiday Inn I stayed in the next night. The fruit was fresh, well chosen, ripe and tasty. The range of meats and cheese to choose from was lovely. The staff were smiley and welcoming. The air conditioning was excellent - important on a day that reached 41C! The bed was really comfortable, as good as that in Le Relais Saint Michel two nights before, as well as the Mercur Mont Michel the previous night.
Cons: Finding the hotel was not easy, but that's because no roundabouts in Blois seem to say "Centre Ville" on them to create a sense of direction. However, it has a massive gate guarding the car park in front of the hotel but of course an underground private parking would be more secure. It would be nice to have some toast bread, not just baguettes and an hour extra for breakfast would help holidaymakers a lot.
7.9 Good
Cons: At 8:00 AM in the morning they started to use a drill right next to our room and woke us up.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good location good parking nice room comfy bed relaxing
Cons: no resturant on the day we stayed
7.1 Good
Pros: The stay in the hotel was adequate with a good breakfast.

Cons: Room was dated.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The woman at the front desk was great! So nice and accommodating, we felt very welcome!
7.5 Good
Pros: Its location deserves a mention here - if you are interested in taking trips to the surrounding castles (Chambord, Chaumont, etc), it is very well placed. Also, the staff is really welcoming and every day there are fresh towels provided; the price is also convenient.
Cons: The room (6) is really noisy (one could very well hear the announcements in the train station, starting, roughly, with 5 am until 11 pm) and its windows face the ventilation of the restaurant below. The walls of the room need to be freshened up (too many marks of the previous visitors).
5.8 Okay

Pros: Comfortable one night stop over
Cons: A fair walk from centre
4.2 Okay
Pros: Not so much, but did sleep
Cons: Rather expensive for a hotel in France, compared to the quality : very basic sleeping place, no more. Not really good advertisement for Ibis/Accor group
5.8 Okay
Pros: Giant screen TV in room. Easy access good car park. Perfectly pleasant and comfortable but really was over-priced.
Cons: Breakfast was not included in the price unlike many other Ibis hotels we have stayed in. Breakfast bread was hard as a rock. No tea/coffee or kettle in room - but we anticipated what has become a bad habit in the hotel industry and brought our own.
6.7 Good
Pros: The bed was comfy and the area was fairly quiet. We ate in the restaurant and the staff were all pleasant and trying hard, Plenty of parking onsite.
Cons: There was no vegetarian option for a main in the onsite restaurant. The rooms were old and tired - I've stayed in much nicer Ibis hotels. Also no lift to get to the 1st floor.

Pros: It has AC, clean. Very small, only 10 rooms. Great restaurant- food was amazing. Go for experience. Get the pre- arranged meal. They kept bringing various samples of deserts, starters, cheeses and on and on and on. It was truly French meal. Plan for couple of hours of enjoyment.
Cons: The decor is a bit dated. Night stands had paint pilling. No elevator. Wasn’t problem for us, but if you can’t take stairs- this hotel is not for you.
7.1 Good
Pros: Loved the food, which is why we stayed and we were not disappointed. One dish ranked as one of my all time favourites. The decor of the restaurant was lovely too. The staff were very friendly and did a lot to accommodate our needs.

Pros: The location could not have been better.Due to the local police blocking a road, the sat nav. went into overtime to redirect us to the secure underground car parking , and apart from the spaces being small for my Land Rover It was only a 2minute walk to the hotel. It was a beautiful grand old building with many of the features retained. The dining room for the breakfast was very good and an excellent selection available. We were recommended restaurants to eat at night and the one we chose was so good that we returned the next evening.

Great location just on the other side of the bridge from the city center and surrounded by bars and bakeries and the like. Comfortable and clean room— fabulous shower and nice beds! The owner and his staff were all very kind and helpful— we were provided with a place to store our bikes and they filled our water bottles in the morning! The breakfast was lovely. Highly recommend!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: - It located on the river. The view from the ground floor restaurant is nice and relaxing. - The room is clean and maintenanced. The room is tiny but it is value for money. - They store your luggage by free of charge before the check-in time and after the ckeck-out time.
Cons: - This hotel does not have an elevator. You need to carry your luggage by climing up the stairs. - The location of the hotel is a bit far from the railway station. - The key of the room door looks broken. But if you understand how it works, it works with no problem.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The renovated bathroom.
Cons: The room was very shabby.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location and friendliness of the staff.
Cons: I am not sure the hotel could have done anything about it, the room was very hot and unfortunately when it did cool down outside later in the eve we were unable to sleep with our windows open due to the very loud noise of the next door hotel aircon generator. It had been 35degrees ouside. Maybe an offer of a fan for the night?
7.1 Good
Pros: The room was normal just fair regarding the price. It has a good bathroom and a beautiful view to the river.
Cons: The breakfast cost like 6.5 euros per person and it was coffee from a machine, orange juice and bread. Also you could take some cereal and butter. I have received the same for free in some hostels.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very good location.

Pros: Nice lady on reception was friendly and helpful about parking and looking after our luggage and bags, and allowed us to choose between two rooms. We chose one on the street side, nice for looking out although we had to close the window in the early morning because of noise. Very convenient central location.
Cons: I slept badly because of the mattress, which was hot and clinging like an absorbent marshmallow. When you lie down it seems to wrap around you, and this causes resistance to turning over, which is painful for anyone like me with chronic backache. Though perhaps not a concern for everyone.

Cons: Weird layout of room. Bathroom was tiny and door hit toilet. Could not fit two people in at the same time. Front door and bathroom we're down a long corridor from the rest of the room.

2.5 Mediocre
Pros: We arrived at the hotel and there was no secure parking and the hotel looked run down and shabby so we decided not to stay and booked into an Ibis
5.8 Okay
Pros: The easy access to town.
Cons: The very grumpy man at reception !
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Well located hotel, near the train station and the historic center. Ascensor with restricted access (disabled people), but the use was allowed to carry luggage to the upper floors. Fantastic bakery just next to the hotel.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: handy location across from la Gare and a short walk into town. the boulangerie on the corner just ouside the door was very handy for breakfast. Street parking was easy to find and free from 1800h
Cons: Minor things not under control of the hotel such as the truck unloading crgo noisily under our window at 0530 h.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location Convenient. Room was ready at check in Staff was helpful
Cons: The room was extremely small due to sloped ceiling. The head of the bed was along the sloped wall. We banged our heads on the beams on that wall. Also made it difficult to sit up. The room was "ready" for check in but the baby cot from previous occupant was still set up and there were a couple of leaves on the floor indicating floor was not vacuumed beforehand. Shower was VERY SMALL and the floor extremely slippery. The size of the shower and positioning of rainhead caused water to spray outside of the enclosure. Finiky elevator. Also, elevator did not go up to the room we were given so not great fo 2 women lifting rolling duffles.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Comfy bed. Good wifi
Cons: No fridge in the room. Poor lighting, especially in the bathroom. Had trouble locking our hotel room door.

3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Dirty hall, super dirty hall. Rooms stink like they’ve had smokers for years. No AC, no room done in the morning. No Vinc for kitchen, everything so cheap, desk opens late and closes early.
Cons: Dirty hall, super dirty hall. Rooms stink like they’ve had smokers for years. No AC, no room done in the morning. No Vinc for kitchen, everything so cheap, desk opens late and closes early. For the price that’s really a shame. It stinks so much there.
