The friendliness of the staff particularly Yvonne.
Close to beach
We stayed in a room that had a radiator constantly on luckily my partner is a plumber and got some pliers to turn the radiator off, walls were full of damp, window had no safety catches and we were over a high drop (stairs covered in rubbish outside) window covered in bird poo, shower was terrible, room door old fashioned keys have to use two hands for two separate locks hard when your carrying a child, also only one key to room so not helpful if someone wants to stay out later, breakfast wasn’t great had no menu or sign to say what they have - just asked what you want? and had one lady running around trying to serve everyone, loads of stairs had a lift but was tiny and couldn’t fit my buggy in with me and my other child let alone my luggage.
Clean towels and sheets
Damp patches on ceiling, old filthy carpet ingrained with shake n vac, bathroom sealing stained, bath 2 damage spots, missing tiles round cistern, wallpaper hanging off wall, unable to control heating as radiators missing knobs, no way to wash hair as no shower and they couldn’t provide a jug to do it
Value for money good but the hotel was tired and needed attention
The damp and property needs updating, the adjoining room where my daughter was booked into was full of damp and they had to move to another hotel
Location good value for money
The bed was made up of 2 beds very uncomfirtable
