Bengaluru hotels near Government Museum

Pros: Great facilities and the staff on the Club level were excellent. One of the best Shangri La properties we have stayed at.

Pros: Staff, food and rooms were all good. The down side the pool in the shade all afternoon location not so great.

Pros: I had some prerequisites for the choice of room, decoration, and for bday celebration..It was handled nicely as expected by the staffs there Bhushan - who kept track of my whereabouts and arrival to the hotel. Ajit Anurag - who took care of my complete stay, arrangements, front desk and my check out with onboard journey. Pooja - who took care of the bday celebration request in the room. Credit to the Restaurant Caprese (Excellent ambience, James who took care of my table and a surprise bday cake ) Yatii ( Vidur who explained the cusine so well, planned the same and extremely delicious food ) The Spa - Therapist were so kind and gentle and treatment was exquisite. Tried to help us with appointment during busy schedule.

Pros: Huge range is breakfast and lunch buffet. Restaurant at 18th floor Indian one is absolutely stunning. High price but good food.

Cons: Staffs at the Buffer restaurant seems to be lazy. Also tea/coffee side on same buffet restaurant, staffs bit not happy to deliver.

Pros: The Luscious Green Garden expanded in large area of the property is unique and exceptional. Buffet breakfast included delicious quality and variety of food that has been the best in this continent. My friends from Melbourne Australia also stayed here they too were impressed with authentic Indian and exceptionally great ambience, quality and service.

Pros: This is an oasis. Set in a beautiful setting, the hotel has old charm.

Cons: Maybe a one-off, but the alarm in the room next door went off at 1:30 am for 20 minutes. Also, the AC went off and needed to be re-set. I wanted a quiet room.

Pros: Amazing location , so much greenery felt like a resort ! Colonial past and beautiful well kept century old hotel amazing. Great staff . Beautiful confortable room, great size.

Pros: Great location in the heart of the city - everything we needed to get done was walkable. Extremely polite staff with a real ‘can-do’ attitude.

Pros: Team reception... Outstanding. Smooth check in and check out. They also have a good spread of breakfast and food is tasty as well. Mall next to is a perfect place for shopping.

Pros: Team at the front desk.... Very helpful and understanding... Smooth check in and escorted me to the room. Mr. George was very quick in doing the formalities and didn't had wait for too much time in the lobby which i felt as special for this property. Rooms are having more facilities than a normal hotel room. Very good location that to in center of a mall. Awesome during weekends.

Pros: Sept 4th was our wedding and it was our night together booked at Lalit. We never informed that it was our first night stay at the hotel and the staff got to know by our wedding attire. We were surprised to get a lovely cake and flower bouquet that was kept when we came back after our breakfast the next day. We forgot the name of the person who fixed our room for the night and he made our stay an unforgettable experience. There was another surprise by my spouse, with the help of the staff she got a beautiful flower decorated bed for the 2nd night that we spent here. Thanks Lalit, Our first night was truly an unforgettable experience that we'll cherish for years to come.

Cons: looking brand image we allot hotel for our USA client ...when comes to know that how much they have ignore customer ,hope all are professional people but nothing mannerism in few people in front desk ...how to treat woman customer they must learn ...you demand money from customer so we too expect same service from the hotel..for food was denied initially for 2000 ruppes while we were told by staff to pay at check out. She paid her 39 dollar after received India money they given back the dollar .what a shame for woman who is stay in hotel 3 days how do you treating .if we ask any you can say it is policy ...the space is not sufficient describe about the hotel staff behaviour ...worst ever service never seen.exiting customer in room is it they will escape without paid 2000..we pay the money are you given quality food but nothing good quality ... breakfast table, no one provide water till end staffs everyone cross the table ...if you have customer partiallity then put customer category you looking ..I understand you are having partiallity ..you putting we care tag infront...what do you care we know as a customer understand.might be our feelings you never know...you are having huge business ,and customer client ..we request you don't treat partiallity ,keep treat

Pros: Stay was very comfortable. Hotel is centrally located. rooms are clean and comfortable. Gym facility is good. The Gym instructor Mr Nagraj is a very cooperative and well informed.

Cons: I made inquiry about reservation for my next trip but I didn't get any response from reservation counter/ team from the hotel.

Cons: Already I commented..it was one of top class worst behavior star rating hotel ,.never such type of place I will not accommodate my guests ...very bad treat to the customers .

Cons: 1) Room smelled like urine, so the staff left an air purifier in my room. Housekeeping team mentioned a problem with the A/C in two rooms and gave me one of them in spite of knowing this. Shameful for a 5 star hotel chain to do this. 2) The prices on the room service menu were not clear. Apparently, the staff forgot to stick a label on the menu stating the price that they wanted me to pay. 3) The staff tried sorting out the room situation and said that a room would be ready within 10-15 mins. I waited 3 hours before getting a room after making the initial complaint. Overall, a terrible customer experience. Would never stay with them again.

Pros: The Front office staff were very helpful especially Zeba and Vishnu. They went out of their way to make us feel at home.

Pros: We were treated very well. The front office staff were very considerate to our requests. Vishnu and Zeba were especially helpful and very courteous. Kudos to them. All in all it was a great experience. Looking forward to staying there next time.

Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and clean. Fairly good breakfast options.

Cons: The rooms we were first given had bathrooms with a lot of mould in the shower and with a poor seal that allowed water to leak on to the floor. Once it was escalated, we were given a 'club room' which was much better. We chose one with a bathtub in the end as it looked the most neat. We were surprised to be charged as soon as we checked in rather than at the end of our stay. We were charged Rs 35 over as the staff had inputted it incorrectly and were told we'd get this refunded at the end. However as we checked out we were refunded over Rs2000 and we didn't know why even when we asked tentatively. We assumed it was a deposit that was being returned. Then, a few days later we had a WhatsApp message that asked us to return that money as it was incorrectly refunded. Luckily we were returning to Bangalore a few days later so we went in to sort it- we didn't want this hanging over our heads once we left the country. We never got the Rs 35 back but we really didn't want any more hassle by this point!
