Pros: Loved the friendly and personal service by the staff, namely Marie, Alexis and Charles, the hotel restaurant, and the perfect location in the heart of the city.

Pros: Charles was very helpful, the location was perfect, it’s exactly what I was looking for staying in a boutique hotel
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The standard double room is in the main building with luxury decor. The other room we stayed is a 2-bed room family apartment which is located on the top of its restaurant around the corner. The location is right in the town center. Its restaurant provides quality dinner and services.

Pros: What's not to like?! The people (Odile, Gilles and Sylvie) are just lovely and welcoming and go out of their way to make things work for you. They are very accepting of our pups too. Lovely, characterful rooms, idyllic location in a lovely haven of green. Perfect break from a long drive. And the dinner! Don't forget to book but it will be well worth it.
Cons: We couldn't stay more than one night due to a long drive the next day
5.4 Okay
Pros: The location was perfect, extremely quiet, peaceful and beautiful and at the same time near from Beaune.
Cons: Breafkast (far too expensive -15 EUR per person - for what it is which sounds to be only industrial food). Lack of hospitality of the staff. Nothing is done to encourage guests to enjoy the garden (no orange juice available, no cushions on deckchairs etc.)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant staff and wine selection. Dinner and breakfast on the terrace was amazing. Beautiful hotel

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Large and comfortable room with new bath, tres chic and a lovely waterfall shower. Oh lala! Clean and very comfortable all around with 10 rooms. So you meet other travelers at the great breakfast as it is so small. 5 minute walk to old town gate, 10 minutes walk to train. Breakfast was complete and delicious, we even poached our own eggs and had large selection of pastry and bread. Staff were very helpful and kind. Most highly recommended!
Cons: WiFi only works in lobby and dining area
7.9 Good
Pros: Nice room, good bathroom, friendly and helpful manager, free and close parking
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming room, good breakfast, private parking, pleasant staff. Hotel 10 min. walking distance from the old city center.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful old house, room was cosy with a shower room to die for! The staff were excellent although our very young host was not sure about Nica our Springer Spaniel. The breakfast was more than adequate and we were well attended to, with everything being brought to the table. Boiled eggs, toast cereals, cheese, and yummy pain au chocolat and croissant etc. Ok, so there wasn’t fried eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, baked beans, sausages, boudin noir, bacon or fried bread, but then that is an English grand dejeurner to break the fast, and not the little lunch that the French are famous for. The property is obviously a goo place to explore the old town, being just a short walk away. Unfortunately we did not have the time.
Cons: Our room had the newest wooded floor and a proper one: none of the pine or artificial stuff, but it did squeak. Can’t see that much can be done and it does add to the character. The double bed was a bit narrow to what we are used to, but just right if you want to cuddle up. A wider bed would distract from the cosy nature of the room. We went to bed very early and unfortunately sound travels in an old house, but by 2300 all was quiet not even a mouse stirring, until sometime in the night my phone charger threw itself on the floor I think waking the whole house! Would we stay again: certainly.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice family run hotel just outside of the walls of the old town. The owner is extremely hospitable and did everything possible to make our stay pleasant. Our room was very good - nicely decorated and spacious and the bathroom and shower were recently renovated. The traditional French breakfast was excellent (well worth the price) and hand served by the owner. Parking was available both in front and behind the property which was very convenient. It was a pleasant 10- 15 minute walk to any point in the beautiful historic town of Beaune, and a very convenient location to visit the Burgundy countryside. Would happily stay here again.
Cons: Our only minor complaint was the squeaky hardwood floors - one group above was very noisy, but that was just for one day. The nature of historic buildings.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything..easy walk to Beaune Centre..very quiet..large comfy bed..swish modern shower room..parking inside hotel grounds..last but not least charming willing host. Our second visit this summer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner is very friendly and helpful. Very nice and modern new bathroom. The breakfast is excellent. This was our second time there.
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Small family run hotel with clean comfortable rooms, great European breakfast and very helpful staff. Short walk to old Town Beaune. Secure parking on site.
Cons: All was good! Tho stairs and rooms may be difficult for persons with disabilities.

Pros: A beautiful historic hotel in center of town — close to all restaurants and shops. Staff went over and beyond to answer any questions/problems. Breakfast was incredible! The bedroom and bath were very large also.
Cons: Nothing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful old and quirky hotel in the middle of Beaune, the capital of the wine region of Burgundy. The rooms were filled with antique and unique furnishings thus making it a special place to stay.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed this boutique hotel very much. It's an older building with plenty of character and is interesting because all of rooms are different. We had a suite on the first floor, the room was extremely spacious with high beamed ceilings and 2 bathrooms which is somewhat unique. There was a bit of noise from the floors creaking when the upstairs neighbors walked around but it was delightful to our ears and is definitely part of the ambiance we were looking for in Beaune. Location is inside the walled city and close for restaurants, wine shops and other shopping. We look forward to our next visit

Cons: Virtually 24eu for three cups of tea.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful
7.5 Good
Pros: We are in our 60’s in good health , thank goodness ! Our room was on the third floor , no elevator! Spiral staircase in the dark , lights don’t come on automatically by motion detection. We were never asked if the third floor would be a problem . And we were never cautioned about the lights ! Beautiful chateau wished we could have stayed longer but , in a ground floor room that wasn’t so claustrophobic!
Cons: Beautiful property in a great location.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Suite was great. Breakfast was very good and staff were very friendly
Cons: It was slightly further from the Beaune city centre than I would have preferred.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We wanted to experience the uniqueness we’ve read about the Abbaye. Yes, there is no elevator. But taking the stairs helped us work off all the delicious food we ate! We dined at a local restaurant arranged by the hotel., which was amazing! The other night we dined with the hotel....a spectacular meal! Book early as seating is limited.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The history of the building and it’s excellent conversion into a top grade hotel. Dining by candle light in the cellar for both Dinner and Breakfast - a first for the latter! Good attention to detail in all aspects. Very good chef and his personal attention to all guests. All the staff had the same attitude to guests, to help you enjoy your stay.
Cons: No lift, but understandable as it’s a converted abbey, plus the narrow stairs making taking luggage to your room somewhat difficult- but all the staff were very willing to help.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was my favorite place we stayed on our 10-day trip! This 12th century Abbey is absolutely beautiful and surprisingly modern. From the minute you walk in to the stunning lobby, to the moment we checked out, everything about this place exceeded our expectations. There is a free, public parking lot just a block or two away. Our room was luxurious and modern, they did a wonderful job of keeping the historical charm while providing modern, luxurious room amenities. And the HEATED indoor swimming pool felt so good, we were the only people at the pool and it was very refreshing and relaxing. Our view from the room was fantastic and we couldn't stop leaning out of the window to survey this gorgeous little town! Every staff member we encountered was beyond friendly and helpful. The location is central and close to everything. I plan to go back to Beaune and I will definitely be staying here again. I would recommend it to anyone who plans to visit this area!
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like about this hotel.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: the style of the hotel
Cons: no lift
6.7 Good
Pros: The abbaye entrance room is beautiful with the old vault. The breakfast was very good with fresh and local food cooked at the demand. The diner was excellent and the chef was welcoming and efficient.
Cons: The room (3rd floor) was poorly insulated and far too warm even in the late autumn because it was directly below the roof

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice place close to the city center and a great value. If the weather had been better, we would have enjoyed the nice courtyard. Very friendly staff. Usually, we never book breakfast in french hotels, but the lady at the reception convinced us and we pleasantly surprised by a very good breakfast buffet. The on-site parking is very helpful in a city like Beaune. Tip: get a bottle of wine, bread, cheese, etc. from the city and enjoy it in the courtyard (there is a winter garden like part).
Cons: The weather, but that's hardly the hotel's fault.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: We had the best stay at the Octroi Saint-Jacques! The location is fantastic and the Bed and Breakfast is very cute. It's just a few minutes walk from the Hospice and not too far from the train. Also very easy to get to the city center for lunch/dinner. The hosts were so incredibly friendly. They went out of their way to make the stay fun and comfortable. A few things to note: - The property accepts cash payments only. This is noted but easy to miss. - Knowing a little bit of French is very useful - We arrived by train to Beaune on a Sunday. There were no taxis at the station. It's an ~15 minute walk to Octroi Saint -Jacques so it's not bad but just something to keep in mind if you don't drive there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was fantastic. The breakfast great especially the Cognac. The owners made us feel like family.
Cons: Absolutely nothing.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location
5.0 Okay
Pros: great location, private parking, friendly staff, breakfast was ok, although they didn't have the standard hotel scrambled eggs and bacon/sausages; did have boiled eggs.
Cons: stayed here before and was quite happy. this time though.... i received the smallest room i ever had in an Ibis hotel. in the loft and on the corner (avoid room 321). it was also the most expensive Ibis hotel i've stayed in. the only powersocket next to the bed, didn't have room for your telephone. the toilet behind the bathroom door could only be accessed if you closed the door, after entering the bathroom. the hotels hottub was lukewarm and no dressing rooms (apart from the shower and toilet), which meant you had to undress in front of windows the smokers and people on the terrace could easily watch through. Ibis Styles is supposed to be the more expensive Ibis but i have stayed in 'normal' Ibis hotels, far more spacious and comfortable than this one. my advice would be to book the normal Ibis for a better price. i won't be booking this again.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Requested a yurt room with a view and received the perfect view. Great central location. Very clean
Cons: Lobby felt disjointed and impersonal. I was hoping to relax there and have a glass of wine after s long day of travel and touring. No one was there (checked 3 times over 1 1/2 hours (5:30 -7). Perhaps I was too early?
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It was a great location
Cons: Room was small
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, just outside the central district. Very nice breakfast. Modern hotel with updated furnishings and fittings, comfortable and clean.
Cons: Nothing really, I was quite satisfied with our stay and would recommend to other travellers.

9.4 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel although rooms are on the smaller side. Staff excellent and friendly with serviceable English. Very good breakfast and excellent restaurant for dinner. Good access to everything. Would gladly stay here again.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The Hotel de la Poste is a very nice old-world-charm hotel with a super location for travelers. The hotel had a comfortable, well decorated and stocked bar area off the lobby..... great place to rest at the end of a busy day. The dining room was classy in all respects and served high quality food for a reasonable price. Service was impeccable. The breakfast buffet was excellent with broad selections. Hotel staff was friendly and eager to please. Rooms are smaller than some, but the bed was awesome...…sweet dreams!
Cons: The largest shortfall I observed was that my planning did not allow us to spend more time in this lovely, hotel.
7.0 Good
Pros: Restaurants, the market on Saturday morning, buying some wine. Beautiful town..
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely old hotel, very central.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location & staff very helpful
Cons: Our bedroom was spacious although the bed was not very comfortable- very firm . The room seemed very tired but clean .
7.9 Good
Pros: The family room was enormous and perfectly set up for our family of four. It was very comfortable with good quality linen and products. It was also very helpful that the hotel had a restaurant given we arrived in the evening following a long drive.
Cons: The service in the restaurant was a little stuffy but the food was excellent. €15 I felt was very expensive for a child’s meal, particularly given there were only two choices: chicken or fish and my children (aged 5 and 6) have very small appetites. What really enraged me was that my daughter asked for an apple juice and when the bill arrived, we had been charged €9 for it! I thought that was ridiculous and totally out of proportion with the cost of everything else (my glass of Crémant was less!).
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location and parking
Cons: Too few staff. One person to deal with the bar and restaurant meant a chaotic evening restaurant service. No fault of the server, he needed more assistance than a ‘stagier’ to deal with the bar and a full restaurant.

3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Breakfast was good
Cons: The room was a disgrace, there were loose electrical fittings with exposed wires, black mould in the shower the decor was scruffy with paint missing and difficulty getting through the door as the beds were behind it. Once cases were on the floor there was no room to move. I have seen better student flop downs.
7.5 Good
Pros: Secure and free parking.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very well placed, with an easy walk in to centre. Breakfast excellent and worth the money as we could cruise through to supper time with a small snack for lunch. A bonus to have parking on site as we did not need to worry about parking when we went site seeing. Serviceable brasserie on site for evening meal, which was useful as we arrived after a long days drive.
Cons: Decor a little bit tired around the edges, as must have been one of the older ibis hotels, but although room size pretty tight, bed very comfortable, shower worked well, and very well located for overnight stay.
7.9 Good
Pros: The closeness to the town centre.
Cons: Nothing.
7.0 Good
Pros: Warm & efficien welcome
Cons: The very small bedroom?! Rather chaotic breakfast with food & drink at different locations so it took ages to get sorted out.
