Its central in the city, next to ramblas.
The Hotel is very small and high. most of the rooms are very small and next to the elevator. The whole night yoiu will here doors open and closing. The elevator is loud and noisy too. Difficult to sleep.
The hotel staff was excellent and ready to give me good advices about Barcelona. It was very good for me that this hotel is near the metro station. An important thing is that my room was cleaned every day, although it's a one star hotel.
It was very hard for me to find the hotel. I also think that it was too expensive, because my room was a little bit too small ( I stayed in a single room).
Location of hotel, polite English-language personnel, possibility of order of additional services (lease of safe, call of taxi), reception 24 hours
difficulties from confirmation of reserving of number, very cold room, low quality of cleaning up
near the city of town
The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The location is excellent and easy to get to from the airport. I think the room that you stay in makes a huge difference, but we had a little terrace with a view overlooking a courtyard. It was quiet and nice. It also felt quite safe.
The beds are really cots, and not very comfortable. It was very difficult to maintain a constant water temperature, but it did have hot water, contrary to other reviews that I read.
convenience to las ramblas and exploring the gothic area
they rushed me out at 11:50 and i left some things in my room.
small bathroom and irregular water supply and temperature (too hot and not adjustable in a steady way
Clean, normal bathroom, enough to stay 1-2 days.
lock in the door, no daylight
staff is very helpfull and efficient. the central location of the hotel and very close to the metro station. Rooms are very clean and calm. The restaurant aside is good.
Excellent location at a reasonable price
It would be really sweet if there was internet access.
With a stay at Hotel Ingles in Barcelona (Gothic Quarter), you'll be steps from La Rambla and Gran Teatre del Liceu.
