The location of the hotel is by far it's best feature. It's literally around the corner from the Contemperary art museum of Barcelona. It's also a five minute walk from the Rambla, which is a good place to spend mornings and evenings. There are plenty of shops and resteraunts close by to the hotel as well. Hotel was well worth the price when compared to similarly located hotels.
The room we stayed in was a budget room so it was extremely small. Luckily there was only two of us and most of our time was spent out and about. The hotel receptionist did warn us of the rooms size but it was still surprisingly small. There was construction in front of the hotel so we had to park our car 10 minutes walk or so away, and parking was 30 euro a day.
Everything was good enough, except for the room size. But finally it's not a big problem, cause we spent very few time inside the hotel.
Clean & Modern
Excellent location in the heart of El Ravel.
Central hotel, helpful staff, backs onto MACBA art museum. Handily placed for Las Ramblas bars and restaurants. Group of middle aged ladies felt safe and happy
Rooms at front of hotel can be noisy - late night student cafes Currently digging up road and hence dusty and noisy machinery in day time
The location. Quite a trendy hotel
No tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms.
no interference from anyone, private
we were stunned to silence when we saw the size of my room, it was the size of a shoe box, very disappointed
the surroundings is not suitable for everybody at night time.
Centre of City
Difficult to find
Friendly receptionist at arrival.
We got stuck in the elevator the first time we used it and there was nobody in the hotel who knew how to de-block it or how to rescue people in it. After 30 minutes and crashing into the ceiling of the elevtor shaft we succeded to force the doors to open and to escape. This is a real security problem! Afterwards we not even heard an excuse or got some refund....
