Friendly staff. Air conditioning was working well, good WiFi. Hotel is decorated with lovely antique furniture and pictures. Walking distance to get many attractions, cafe, bar , markets and restaurants (5-30mins walking). I did not mind walking hot and humid weather so I walked a lot. I enjoyed local food form early in the morning till late.
Room was next to the street and bit noisy but it was not huge problem as I used ear plugs to sleep. Smell comes from the bathroom which seems common in Thai.
I liked the position near the pier, the street is quite quiet and breakfast was good
In the toilet there was an awful smell, maybe from outside, I'm BOT sure.
Very lovely little boutique and heritage place with great breakfast. You can expect toast, boiled eggs, coofee, tea, milk and cereal at breakfast. Check-in was smooth and Gae was extremely helpful in helping us get around town. She even gave us some excellent recommendations. Beds were comfy, the bedroom was large and the bathroom had nice amenities. It's right next to a 711, and the hotel has a coffee shop on the ground floor. The courtyard inside has a nice waterfall and a lovely tropical jungle feel. Overall an excellent property. Very accommodating staff.
This is a lovely relaxed place in the heart of Bangkok. I really appreciated the calm and the canal and quiet plant market across the street. The hosts are lovely, my room was beautiful, and the breakfast was nice.
The owner is very nice and she booked us a taxi for the airport for a good price and even prepared breakfast to go, since we departed very early in the morning. The hotel is very conveniently located close to the ferry stop Thewet, however there are not really many restaurants/things to do in the direct vicinity. The upside to this is that the rooms are very quiet and we slept well during our stay.
The bathroom was a bit smelly
