Location, location, location. If you plan on activities around the Banff area, I would recommend staying elsewhere. 15-20 minute drive to Banff PLUS, at best, a 20 minute gondola ride. The novelty wore off after day 1. Gondola stops at 1800 everyday. If you arrive after, you may be waiting the better part of an hour for the next shuttle, if there's room. Cons (-) The restaurant selection was limited. The meal preparation was poor instant mashed potatoes. Overall the food tasted bad. My husband got sick from beef ribs.
