Breakfast was basic. However, good value considering how expensive eating out in Banff was. Hotel was comfortable and we found the washing facilities useful.
We found Banff to be busy and expensive. We were told that if you wanted to eat at peak times in popular restaurant's it is necessary to book a few days to a week in advance. This is not always possible when you are only staying 1 or 2 days and you are not sure when / what you want to eat.
The location is great, just in the center of the town.
Parking is horrible and needs additional charge... I asked the staff the day before I got there if the parking is good for my truck, and she said yes no problem. Then when I got there, it was like a driving test for safely parking a big vehicle in that underground parking lot. And it was charged... never stay in a hotel with a charged parking before.... So, if you plan to driving to Banff, that is not a good place to stay...
Very clean. Friendly staff. Complimentary breakfast was actually pretty good. Spacious loft suite which faced a side street and was one of the quietest hotels I have ever stayed in. Excellent location downtown.
$6 for parking per day was a bit cheeky, considering the price of the room. Heating was on a wall unit, made it hard to control (either the room was cold or hot, nothing in between). Amenities were poor.
Breakfast was busy. I liked the pastries
My daughter was looking forward to the gym. The bikes were broken.
Lovely reception staff who are happy to help you book things and provide directions. Great location in the middle of downtown Banff.

The property is close to hiking and skiing in the Canadian Rockies, but also close to the Banff Visitor Information Center, Banff Avenue, the Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies, and other local attractions.
There are 77 guestrooms on offer split between standard rooms and suites. All rooms offer amenities designed for comfort and enjoyment. Guests will find flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi access, fans for cooling during the summer (no AC), hairdryers, eco-friendly toiletries and sundries, in-room safes, coffee makers, kettles, and more.

While the hotel does offer breakfast, there are plenty of other dining options located nearby, thanks to the property’s downtown location. Block Kitchen and Bar offers Asian fare and is just one minute away on foot. Chuck’s Steakhouse is four minutes away, and the Balkan Restaurant can be reached on foot in three minutes, and serves up Mediterranean food. The Bear Street Tavern is one minute away and is a popular watering hole in town.
