The views were great despite it being cold and grey outside. The restaurant was beautiful. Though we only had drinks at the bar, I would have eaten there if we had more time. It was refreshing to stay in a hotel that has a great window with beautiful street views and lots of light. The rooms were just right for two of us. I really liked the couch on the end of the bed as a nice touch for hanging out at the end of the evening.
Honestly not much. We stayed in the courtyard view rooms on the second floor and the only downside is that you really need to keep the blackout blinds drawn almost all the time or else you are looking into someone else's eyes.
Poised in the 1914 property on Recreation Pier, Sagamore Pendry Baltimore embodies the city’s vibrant personality, rich history, and idyllic harbor setting. Still rooted in tradition, the pier’s extensive renovation honors the history of the property and has restored it to its former glory, but with a modern-day sensibility and aesthetic.
Each of the hotel’s 128 guest rooms and suites was designed with an eye for Baltimore’s heritage and a modern, sophisticated perspective. Every room features a mixed palette of warm wood and cool stone, custom textiles and furnishings, curated artwork, and courtyard or harbor views. Amenities include luxury bedding, Bluetooth speakers, custom bath products, complimentary Wi-Fi, and 24-hour room service.
Fine dining and drinks on the premises are a treat at Rec Pier Chop House and The Cannon Room. Rec Pier Chop House is devoted to time-honored Italian cooking with prime cuts, seasonal ingredients, purebred beef, sustainable seafood, and housemade pastas. The Cannon Room, an American whiskey bar, takes its name from the cannons that lived beneath Rec Pier for centuries. The space houses an intimate bar with a carefully curated menu of rye, bourbon, and premium whiskey. Guests may also access The Pool, featuring a poolside outdoor seasonal bar and grill for lounging, dining, and cocktails set on the Inner Harbor.
Sagamore Pendry Baltimore offers the perfect setting for meetings and events with a beautiful, historic backdrop, a prime location, stunning views of Inner Harbor, customizable event spaces, and an events team that is there to ensure that each event, is treated with the utmost care.
