7.0 Good
Pros: Great location, friendly staff and pool is great for a cool down after exploring. Room is of decent size and fine.
Cons: Rooms are not sound proof and woke up a few times with a telephone ringing in the kitchen (even though on a different floor) or other guest being noisy.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room was nice and clean, we were able to get our rooms earlier arriving from an overnight bus from Siem Reap which was a PLUS for sure; Location was good, several scooter rentals just next door and across the street, the hotel itself also provides e-bike rental and the main street with many restaurants is just around the corner; also the breakfast buffet has a great selection with an egg station, the chef will make your eggs when ordered;
Cons: Price was a little high compared to other places we have stayed in throughout the trip in Souhteast Asia; Also we felt the staff was a little more interested in selling tour than giving advices for us to explore on our own, maybe they get commission, one staff offered to help us arranging scooter rental at a higher price than the price we eventually got on our own negotiating directly with the rental store across the street
9.0 Excellent
Pros: ThelocationwasverygoodandHotelbreakfastwasverygood.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location - plenty of restaurants nearby. Rooftop breakfast was good.
Cons: 1. Weak WiFi signal. Almost impossible to connect. 2. Can be noisy at night/ in the morning. Sound proof is not the best, and many rooms on each floor. You can hear people talking along the corridor.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Its a fine hotel; but just a little warn out and does not really live up to the pictures on booking.com.
Cons: The english skills of the staf was not very good. They were 100% helpfull and nice; but a bit hard to communicate with.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: very friendly staff , good location, close to restaurants, e-bike rental.

7.5 Good
Pros: Very good staff , good location
Cons: Very young travellers drinking and speaking loud at night ...Poor breakfast ...
4.0 Okay
Pros: Unmm........ can't think of anything.
Cons: Not well maintained unfortunately. Can do with fixing locks on doors as it's difficult to unlock the doors. Uses blankets disguised as a duvet. It's totally over priced. Must be Greedy Italian owners charging the amount they do for such a poor double room. The bathroom smells of unflushed facese. When checking in it's like checking in to Mussolini's house. China was easier. The process is ridiculous. Other hotels don't go through this process. If in Myanmar support Myanmar hotels not a foreigners hotel. If I knew it was owned by foreigners I wouldn't have booked it.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were wonderful, location central
Cons: A bit expensive
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Traveller friendly. Great breakfast. Very clean. Felt comfortable and safe. Friendly staff and other travellers.
Cons: Be sure to get a plug near your bed to charge your phone. Not all beds have them.

Cons: Nothing.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was super clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.
Cons: The location a little far from all the restaurants.
7.5 Good
Pros: Tranquility, breakfast
Cons: The Bungalow Suite is not a bungalow nor a suite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely clean and rather beautiful
Cons: A hotel shuttle would be useful
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good location very friendly personnel very recomendable
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location right on an edge of historical sites district and near an observation tower in easy reach by bike, yet away from noise of main street, next to golf club, architecture style bricks+wood with Asian feel, pool ( yet cold for December), garden, restaurant with sitting in garden, friendly staff, eco-aware - water for free to limit use of plastic(!), e-bikes on property
Cons: Nothing really (just having warmer water in a pool would be pleasant luxury, but it is December after all and 25C during day is fantastic trade of for travelling and visiting temples) Rooms cold as well (get some warmer clothes next time)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is fantastic! I loved everything about it. The staff are so kind and helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble. We stayed in a villa and it was superb. Everything you need is there, electric bikes, great pool and great food. Fantastic location. I loved it! Stunning!
7.0 Good
Pros: The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The gardens are beautiful and well cared after. We loved having breakfast in the covered terrace, overlooking the lush gardens and enjoying the chirps of the birds. The external architecture of the banglows is interesting and fitting with Bagan. Rooms are extra spacious but could use some refreshment. The e-Bikes rental from the hotel is reasonably priced and very efficient. The gesture of complimentary straw hats offered in the rooms was very kind.
Cons: The overly spacious and sparsely furnished room felt cold and unwelcoming, The room lighting at night was so poor that we had to ask the staff to bring us table lamps - which they have obliged promptly. The bed mattress was rock-hard and really not comfortable. The location of the hotel is different from what was shown on booking.com map. The hotel is in the middle of the golf course and a bit out of the way. It is a good half hour walk or 15 minutes e-bike or tuktuk ride from the nearest restaurants. The rooms could use some refreshment and upgrade.

Pros: This was the second time we stayed here and nothing has changed, it has the same perfect set up and charm. Amazing entrance lobby and pathways to your room. The pool is a highlight. Very central so you are able to walk to all the local restaurants and markets.
7.0 Good
Pros: The hotel is nice it give you the feeling the moment you enter after passing reception that you are in jungle , the room was big with high seeling, good breakfast.
Cons: Extremely noisy at first night even when I used the ear plugs couldn’t sleep, second night was almost fine, the small garden terrace it’s nice but lacking privacy.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very generous hotel: big rooms with a large ceiling height, very nice lobby, spa and swimming pool ! A reactive and helpful staff which made our stay easier. Very nice breakfast, but the restaurant is a bit expensive for the diner. Well located, in front of a scooter rental, next to restaurants, the local market and has an ATM at the hotel.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect, the staff was so helpful and friendly. The room was very spacious and clean. The swimmingpool was lovely and the location was on a quiet place, one second from an ATM and an excellent e-bike (scooter) rental shop accross the street with a super friendly woman.
Cons: The only thing we missed a bit was that we couldn’t buy a cappuccino.
5.0 Okay
Pros: location
Cons: low cleaness
7.9 Good
Pros: The staff is helpful and speaks pretty good English. The rooms are big with a nice wooden floor. The swimming pool is nice. We can rent e-bikes in front of the hotel. The breakfast offers a decent choice. The aircon works and there's got water.
Cons: The bathrooms look old and ill-conceived. In the first room, I had some vibration noise in the walls, all night, that the earplugs could not make go away. Fortunately, the staff was ok to let me go in another building.
7.1 Good
Pros: Nice room with big bed. Pool is nice
Cons: No views, room located in the basement. Hotel far away from Bagan old town, but you have electric bikes rental service.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Staff were very polite and helpful. Location was very fairly decent and made access to the temples easy
Cons: Dirty. The sheets were all yellowed, we were given old ripped towels and the bathroom had mould.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, clean, fairly central location in New Bagan, lovely pool, rooms are basic but clean, rooftop restaurant has simple food for lunch and dinner
Cons: Basic breakfast in a fluorescent-lit hall
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Spacious and comfortable room, very nice saltwater pool, good breakfast and very helpful staff. As soon as we entered they welcomed us with bottle of water, carried our bags and constantly cared if we are satisfied. There is fast WiFi in the rooms as well as in public areas. The location is perfect, you can rent an e-bike right opposite of the hotel and reach the temples in minutes! Highly recommended!

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. A shuttle from the airport to the hotel is provided for a surcharge (available on request).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful big rooms, with comfy beds and well laid out bathroom. Nice clean pool with sun loungers and towels. A good location in New Bagan but highly recommend exploring outside of this place. Kind staff and helpful when they understood you.
Cons: The one egg omelette/scrambled was very stingy considering the breakfast buffet on offer. Exploring all day on bikes is hungry work so a substantial breakfast is required. Additionally, as stated in other reviews, a total lack of atmosphere is apparent in the dining hall and pool area. Walking across the dusty street to the main area was only apparent once we'd arrived. Try and request a room in the main building.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beatiful outside and inside. Great wifi.
7.0 Good
Pros: The breakfast was ok and staff really helpful.
Cons: When arrived we asked to change room because there was a strong mold smell. The new roomwas sligthly better but still. In our opinion the hotel needs some renovation and better cleaning.
6.3 Good
Pros: Nice location and nice ambiance
Cons: Not properly clean.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The pool is refreshing after a day out on ebikes. The location is in a side street off main road, so it’s quiet. Big rooms, good breakfast and lovely staff
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortabel room (3) , Nice staff , Good location close to many restaurants and a very good breakfast
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel grounds! The breakfast and rooms on the upper floor was very nice. The pool was very nice esp after the heat of the day.
Cons: Internet and water pressure was weaker than expected.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel, lovely setting and helpful to have e-bike rental on site. The hotel organised a driver for us for a slightly more bespoke days tour which was very helpful.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Big rooms, nice breakfast, friendly & accommodating staff, and great ambiance. The staff was really helpful in arranging a driver for us & making sure we got picked up by our bus to Kalaw. We were able to use the shower & changing room while we waited until 9 pm for our bus pick up. Beds were comfortable, and everything was super clean.
Cons: Could've had better water pressure in the shower
Ruby True Hotel - Bagan - Building

Featured amenities include limo/town car service, a computer station, and dry cleaning/laundry services. 9.0 Excellent
Pros: Wellcoming was great, staff very good, breakfast good too, a bit out of town, but Madame WaWa, can book an e-bike for you, very cheap. The best way to travel and see Bagan. Nice pool and happy hours. Thanks Madame WaWa for being so nice with us and everyone. Cheers to every one.
Cons: The bathroom curtain was dirty and the water was leeking from somewhere, every day it was like a pool on the floor. I think it's not a big problem, they can fix it easily.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed at Ruby True hotel in Bagan for 3 nights in Jan’20, with our family of 5 staying in two adjacent rooms. I had read the reviews about the hotel manager Wah Wah and she certainly didn’t disappoint. She was lovely and extremely welcoming, like having another mother to look out for you. She was up at 5 and making sure we got away for our balloon flight OK, then she is waiting reception when we arrive back home after dinner and riding ebikes around for the day (I’m sure she didn’t rest until all her guests were safely tucked away in bed for the night). When my wife told her about a few scrapes and scratches from riding ebikes, she appeared with antiseptic creams and lotion. But, all the staff were lovely, the gardens extremely well manicure and the pool area very nice. Add to the 2 for 1 happy hour cocktails, we had a great experience. The rooms are comfortable, functional, the beds firm but comfortable and rooms well cleaned, just a little dated. The breakfast buffet was reasonable and the location is OK, just in the outskirts of new Bagan, but a manageable walk into new Bagan for dinners, as well as some surrounding restaurants that were ok. Would happily stay here again if ever we were to come back to Bagan. Also certainly recommend hiring ebikes via the hotel to explore Bagan and it’s temples, as well as a hot air balloon ride, just be prepared for the mosquitoes and dust.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet location. Helpful staff, delicious breakfast. Beautiful and clean pool.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We arrived at the hotel at 5.30am after catching a night bus and they manage to get us a room by 6am which was very kind. Wha Wha looked after us really well. She waved us off at 5.30am the next day for our balloon ride and kept breakfast ready for us on our return. The supervisor at the restaurant is ever so helpful and attentive to his guests. The swimming pool area is lovely.
Cons: Too many mosquitoes around but that’s an area problem rather than the hotel itself. Rooms are quite dark.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was absolutely amazing: The room, the service, the staff, the owner Wua wua, the whole atmosphere! When we left we felt that we should have stayed more.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very kind & helpful employees
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved everything about this hotel. It was so beautiful and the staff were lovely. Ms.Wah Wah was particularly a fantastic host. It felt like home. Thank you. I can’t wait to go back.
Cons: Having to leave.:(
7.9 Good
Pros: Nice and helpful staff. We could check in early because we arrived by bus early morning. Good location with nice restaurants in walking distance though I would recommend an e scooter.
Cons: The bathroom/sewer smelled really bad if the air conditioning was turned off.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful Grounds with a genuine Bagan temple in the gardens. Nice Breakfast, close to many shops, restaurants and the temples
Cons: Cultural show had good dancing but needed shorter gaps between dances, some puppets would have been good
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel has organized for guests a very nice New Year's Eve Party!
Cons: Everything was OK!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Grand deluxe rooms with balcony are large, good facilities, comfortable bed, TV entatainment and fast WiFi,compared to other hotels in Myanmar. We ask for a second floor garden view room, it was very quite, private, beautiful view of the gardens, we could see baloons in the morning from the balcony. Can't be better. And location is very cental to everything.
Cons: Breakfast have limited western diet options
7.9 Good
Pros: Loved the location for exploring the dirt roads. Restaurant staff was great.
Cons: Our standard room was small and location a bit too close to reception area.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Umbra Bagan was a real finding, better than the pictures. Very good location, between Old Bagan and Nyaung-U, with easy access to the most important pagodas. Nice breakfast with plenty of Asian or western style options. A special note praising the staff, extremely kind and attentive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was beautiful, it exceeded our expectations, the location was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful
Cons: The bathroom had a smell that came from the plumbing in some moments
4.0 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: The rooms were sub par, would not recommend this hotel unless you stay in one of the grand delux rooms. Don’t stay in a standard room, they feel dirty.
7.0 Good
Pros: I liked having a balcony.
Cons: The food. Nobody helped me with my suitcase at checkout.

6.3 Good
Pros: Excellent location & super large rooms!
Cons: a bit « scruffy », the restaurant is slow and average... So sad due to the fact the staff is super friendly...maybe there is a lack of additional staff?
6.3 Good
Pros: You know the kind of place. A bit old and run down. The basic rooms are really kind of depressing, so we were lucky to be able to upgrade to a better room. They are ok. I didn’t see other places I’d rather be staying at in Bagan, so all in al we found it adequate.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great river view location. We loved the open restaurant and the fabulous breakfasts. The live music and puppet shows every night at dinner were entertaining. They helped us to set up tours every day, and they paid attention by little things, such as leaving fresh fruit in the room every day. Fabulous sunsets from our room
Cons: Noting that would keep me from going back.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Restaurant and breakfast very good. Location perfect to enjoy Bagan. Views from river view rooms beautiful
Cons: The bathroom could use a modernization. The bathroom floor would flood everything when taking a shower.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous views, well stocked bar, friendly and professional staff, would absolutely do again
Cons: Cleanliness of bar area, ventilation in and state of bathroom
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful attention by the staff--they even called us before breakfast was over down stairs. Very clean accommodations, good air conditioning (Mandalay is hot!) excellent value.

Featured amenities include a business center, limo/town car service, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. 4.2 Okay
Pros: Luckily we could cancel out 3 nights stay and stay only one. The pool is nice.
Cons: This property is in our opinion a total rip off in your face. The following need to be known before you book: - If you get a standard room , you pay double than if you book in the Sakura Inn, and you stay in the same type of building and enjoy exactly same facilities. - The hotel has no restaurants or facilities in a walking distance, and you depend on the e-bike which can be rented at reception. The problem is that the e-bike are rented for either 4hours or 8hours at the cost of 4$ per person or 6$ per person respectively. If you do the usual sunrise and sunset, you may need around 10 hours in total , which will obligue you to spend around 20$ one bike a day (2 person), and in other places you pay 5$ full day (sunrise to sunset) - the breakfast is very poor for a 4 star hotels (not sure why 4 star yet) - Boats can be listen at night from the room. - We had geckos on our room , which was dark and bit smelly. - Prices at the hotel restaurant are over the roof, so either you pay 8$ for the e-bike and go 10 minutes to reach other restaurants or pay 5$ for 1 beer and 20$ for a burger. To summarize, go somewhere else, this is not a 4 star hotel (at least for european standard) and they rip you off all the way.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was very good, so was the other food. The location may be off center, but this is irrelevant as most people will take a tour.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very nice and the fruit gardens look amazing. They also let us grab breakfast after official time when we were late. Pool area is very nice
Cons: Houses are not really soundproof.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing views and sunsets from the pool, over looking the river. A nice layout/spread of rooms on the property with temples & pagodas on the premises at the entrance.
Cons: The room was a lot smaller than expected - really hoped for more - this was quite disappointing.
4.6 Okay
Pros: This place is insanely overpriced. The rooms have adequate furniture but you can find something equal or better in town for half the price. DO NOT BOOK A RIVERVIEW SUITE. Minimal view (depending largely on the random orientation of each room) and has exact same furniture and layout as a garden view. They over charge for everything by about 50%. When we were checking in, the hotel staff was selling a full day private tour for almost twice what we found on TripAdvisor.
Cons: The staff is rude and customer service is non existent.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I really appreciate that the very helpful staff offered us free early check in.
Cons: They changed from buffet to a la carte breakfast without any previous notification. In short, first morning very nice buffet breakfast, however, second morning was not the same standard
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location of the hotel was great and the vegetable and fruit gardens were beautiful. There was a lovely young lady on reception called Papa who asked me on our last night how were we enjoying our stay and I jokingly said there were no chocolate croissants at breakfast so she spoke to catering and ensured I had them for my last breakfast.
Cons: The hotel rooms are very basic and not very comfortable, the rooms are very large but definitely in need of an upgrade. We had a terrace outside our room but no chairs so we could not use it. Despite the fact they have fruit and vegetable gardens the food was also very disappointing and expensive.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The garden and the pool were amazing. Super friendly staff
Cons: Very limited food options. The hotel needs renovations, the rooms are old.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Service was wonderful- staff went above and beyond to meet your needs. The tour they organized for me was really good- my guide was extremely knowledgable. Everything was clean and I was very comfortable and felt safe.
Cons: Breakfast could have been better- it was average.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view is breathtaking and the staff is wonderfully kind and accommodating. We will definitely be back.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The setting of the hotel is lovely and in keeping with the environment. There are temples on the other side of the lake which provide great photo opportunities and the hot air balloons fly overhead in the early morning again making for great photos. Staff were very helpful and kind. I had two full days there and the hotel arranged a guide and driver for me who were excellent
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Gardens and location are breathtaking. The observation tower has amazing views and good food
Cons: Rooms need more maintenance and remodel. Printing materials should be updated and re-designed, they look old fashioned
8.0 Excellent
Pros: View from the pool is amazing, I choose the Hotel because of this and was really increadible to arrive in the afternoon and seat to see sunset. Pillows and bed really good, big room and great view from the room (I choose lake view, but even if you can´t afford this room no problem, all the rooms are nice and considering view from the pool it is not necessary to have lake view).
Cons: Food is not a highlight, for sure. Breakfast is ok, but considering price and category of the hotel should be better. Service around the pool is poor, staff should be trained better (even if they are very nice, it seems that they don´t know what to do). The hotel lacks a person with very good english, a manager, to talk to people and see whats is going on.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The view from the pool is astonishing! Rooms are very nice, comfortable and clean. However, still have the feeling that it is overpriced. On the contrary, the food was very good and not overpriced.
Cons: I don't understand why high end hotels always charge services very high. For example, we were charged 15USD for an E-bike while it costs half this price anywhere else in Bagan. We could expect a more high standard service at this price.
7.1 Good
Pros: Easy access to the ancient temples. The grounds are well kept, with a beautiful central pond and lush vegetation. The layout of the room was good and spacious. We appreciated the fruit platter on arrival.
Cons: Breakfast was very bland and disappointing, not at all on par with international 5 star standards.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location.. outstanding and good structure
Cons: Food was just okay
7.5 Good
Pros: You will find amazing photo spot here
Cons: Dated facilities

5.4 Okay
Pros: Spacious rooms
Cons: We had spent USD 1000 for 3 nights including food and drinks. When we were leaving and getting into car a man from hotel comes and asks for USD 2 for a coke from minibar. Amazing that they had to make sure that they got 0.2% of the bill too and made it unpleasant for us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bagan Lodge was a superb choice. We travel with our 2 children age 8 and 2. The staff is super friendly. We had an issue with our viasas causing us to be a day late checking in. The reception could not have been any more accommodating! They allowed us to only pay for 1 night not charging us for the night we did not get there. The rooms are so comfortable. The beds we could sleep in all day. My son spent hours at the swimming pool. However the best are the hotel staff. They are friendly, kind and caring. Nothing was a problem. This place was the best and we will definitely be back! Thank you for a lovely stay!
Cons: Nothing!
4.6 Okay
Pros: Suites are big
Cons: Food is no good; room rate too high; menu prices are high too for Myanmar and toiletries quality low as compared to price you pay for room rate. Rain shower didn’t work well and strange sulfur smell one morning from shower cubicle
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Quaint and functional, but no wow factor.
Cons: Food was mediocre.
6.0 Good
Pros: Conveniently located close to the valley of temple and a little outside of New Bagan. The overall layout of the hotel is nice and airy. Room was large, modern and very comfortable. Huge bathroom with a tub and a nice shower. All rooms are in bungalows on a park. Nice swimming pool
Cons: This hotel is totally overpriced for what they offer. For example, a Coke in the in-room minibar is $2, which for Myanmar is ridiculous. There are 2 swimming pools, one is great for the overall view but is literally in the middle of the lobby so no one can use it. The other one is nice but has no pool bar and is at the opposite end of the property to the bar/ restaurant. Restaurant is poor: prices are high and food portions are small and of poor quality. Buffet breakfast is OK but one could expect way more for the price paid. Everything is charged: while most hotels provide free electric bikes to their guests, this hotel leases them and it is not cheap. Finally, staff is trying to make money for themselves: the bartender only charged us for one round and wanted us to pay the second one in cash instead of charging it to the room pretexting some "system issues" that were resolved as soon as we refused...
7.5 Good
Pros: At the moment, the hotel is possibly the best in Bagan. Big rooms and nice early morning views of the hot air balloons from the top of the restaurant
Cons: The hotel is a little dated. Breakfast was ok but could better. A lot of plastic litter around the hotel - but this is a wider problem generally in Bagan - a shame because the landscape itself is beautiful.
1.0 Poor
Pros: The staff were kind and very attentive.
Cons: I ate all of my meals at the restaurant- I got the worst diarrhea of my life and had to go to the hospital. Since I did not eat or drink anything outside the hotel - the restaurant food was contaminated. They need education on hygiene and food preparation safety. The ac in the room wasn’t working consistently. I kept waking up hot. On the last day I discovered the unit has iced over and needed maintenance.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The general manager was so so helpful - she couldn’t have done more We were upgraded to a large room with a huge balcony We had onward connections to make and she advised us to go to tourist office across the road, the gentleman there was most helpful
Cons: Everything was priced in US$ even the washing which they priced per item - equivalent European hotel laundry prices!! Outside it cost K 1,000 per kilo!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good location, nice and good spa, nice pool area.
Cons: The towels and bed sheets were little bit tired
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice staff! Good breakfast! We did not like our first room but we got nicer room, without extra charge! Super helful and kind staff!
Cons: Superior rooms are not so good, one small window! Everything (furniture, shower ect.) was old and a bit dirty!
4.6 Okay
Pros: A kind-smiling bellboy in dawn time, pretty swimming pool, a small temples near the hotel and early check-in service. Across the hotel, there was local open-air restaurant near Bagan house workshop. I dropped because there were many local people in this restaurant. 500k rice noodle soup, 1000k coconut mixed rice noodle were very yummy.
Cons: I would like to complain both this hotel and the booking.com. I, booking.com level; genious2, made a reservation with upgraded-deluxe room. But the room I stayed was very different than I saw in the app with photos. My room was located in the corridor that had a Chinese sign-those room near my room seemed for the Chinese group of tourists; so I assumed that my room was the lower level, not the deluxe room. With that kind of situation, believe or not, I thought this hotel had a stereotype of races about western and oriental people. And the pot in my room was really dirty so I complained. Also the washroom was not that kind of 4-star washroom- so dirty to use. So we stayed just one night, I couldn’t stay more 3 days in this hotel.
9.0 Excellent
Cons: Great hotel food and entertainment great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great small place, swimming pool surrounded by plants and trees gives a forest feeling, spacious room, good breakfast, amusing night show and amazing staff. Highly recommended!

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff is really welcoming and helpful, the assisted me in booking the balloon ride, giving me all the options. The main building is surrounded by a nice green area making you feeling that you are far away while being in New Bagan. Nice spa services and food.
Cons: In the description in Booking.com is said that the shuttle from the airport is free but when I reserved it through mail that said it cost 7 USD. However, when I said it, they organized it for free. But on my way back to the airport the last day I needed to pay. This need to be revised in the description. Prices in spa and restaurant are slightly higher than in the surrounding; although they are good quality.
7.9 Good
Cons: Team is speaking a poor English making discussion at the lobby complicated. E-bike price are way over priced compare to just outside. Restaurant and bar are on the same way far expensive.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The staff is really nice and the breakfast is good. The pool is also really nice to enjoy on a sunny day.
Cons: The room. It's big but badly furnished. The AC didn't work well. It's a small unit to fill such a big room so it wasn't cold. There's also a tub with no anti-slip mat, and I actually did slip when getting in the shower. Overall I'd say it's not worth such a high price.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful staff Beautiful pool Lovely breakfast Good location Very clean
Cons: Overpriced e-bike rental Overpriced mini bar Loud karaoke music at times
6.7 Good
Pros: Variable service levels. Some very good and just lousy.
Cons: Place slightly dated and towel quality not great.
7.9 Good
Pros: The hotel was large in area with spa and pool and it had a grand entrance from the road. The room was spacious. The food qulaity for both breakfast and dinner is up to standard, though not great. The location is excellant, it is close to city centre of New Bagan. The room A/C could be controlled individually.
Cons: The massage skill provided in the spa is only average, compared to those I tried in other cities of Myanmur. Also, I did not understand why the curtain was simply thick cotton clothes which could not block sunlight at all.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great pool, breakfast, and room.
Cons: False advertisement on booking.com and failure by staff to correct it. It says “fitness center” under facilities and that was a deciding factor for our decision to stay here. Turns out there’s no fitness center (not even a single treadmill, weight, anything). When I asked management they simply said “sorry” with no resolution or confidence to update their listing. Very disappointing in both the advertisement fraud and lack of empathy and professionalism by the staff to correct for this. I sent a follow up email as well and there’s been no response (it’s been 48 hours so far). I’ll consider reporting them if nothing is corrected.
7.5 Good
Pros: The pool is nice, staff are friendly.
Cons: When I booked it said in the facilities section that there was a fitness centre, but when we got there we discovered that there is not. There is a pool and that is great, but I did book thinking I would be able to do a work out or 2 so they should adjust their facilities section to remover that as it is false advertising.

Pros: The hotel has a pool, the rooms are spacious and have AC. The location is good. They provide e bike as well. The staff is very nice and good. They arranged transfer for us to Kalaw, everything went smoothly.
Cons: Can't pay by credit card.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Room was spacious and clean. We got free water and coffee everyday. Staff very nice and helpful. We rented an e-bike and it was always ready on time. Breakfast rich and delicious. Thank you :).
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room is ample and comfortable. It's pretty reasonable price or even super cheap compared to a lovely quality. We received such excellent hospitality. All staffs were polite and helpful.
Cons: There was some problem with the air-conditioner. We had to change the room twice, anyway, staffs were helping us a lot.
7.1 Good
Pros: Nice "villa" style of the rooms. Very good breakfast.
Cons: Our room was not perfectly cleaned.
7.0 Good
Pros: Quiet location. Very nice and helpful reception staff, they even let us check in at 7am.
Cons: Weak wi-fi signal.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and helpful staff, beautiful environment. In the neighborhood, everything you need.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel offers very good value for the money, good location, cozy restaurants nearby, ebikes for rent
Cons: Two separate beds
7.5 Good
Pros: Hotel indoor facility was just like the photo. And it was good.
Cons: 1. I asked early check in while booking. But when we go to the hotel, it wasn’t possible to early check in. Because rooms were fully booked. And I wasn’t informed earlier. 2. Some part of the hotel was under construction. It was little dusty at the restaurant.
4.8 Okay
Pros: - decent breakfast - due to overbooking we got upgraded to a family room, which wasn't better, just larger. - bed was large and comfortable - simple but good shower
Cons: - Our bathroom was clean, but OLD with nasty corners etc - There was no chair or table in the room - The AC was very noisy - The yard in front of our room wass an ugly construction/maintenance area - wifi was mediocre like everywhere

Pros: Breakfast was so big!! And tasty! Staff we helpful and friendly. We hired our bikes from them and we had an issue and they resolved it straight away. Clean, as were the shared bathrooms and toilets and stocked well with toilet tissue. Free cold drinking water. Location is fab, not far from the temples.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was the best, helped us so much with everything! We even used the staff to help us book a homestay in a far away village in the Chin state, and they didn't hesitate, they helped us immediately! The breakfast was surely the highlight of our stay. The best we got on our 25 day trip in Myanmar!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We arrived with the night bus and we did the check in at 5 am instead of 2 because the room was ready. Good location. Nice staff and really helpful
Cons: Sometimes you could hear the monks pray in the night. The breakfast was with too many fry stuff.
7.9 Good
Pros: The staff were friendly and reception manned 24 hours a day. You could hire e-bikes from the guest house for 10,000 kyat ($10AUD) per day which made getting around town to all the temples/pagodas as well as restaurants super easy. Breakfast provided was huge. It was not a buffet style, but staff came and gave you plates of food to your individual table instead. I personally thought this was an overkill as we could not eat that much food, and wondered whether food given to us was food not eaten by another table (don’t think a country like this would just threw away uneaten food). We had a private room with our own bathroom. The bed and pillows were super comfy and the hot water in the shower was amazing! All in all a very comfortable stay and would recommend.
Cons: Our private bathroom was clean however the drain had a slight smell. Nothing different from most of South East Asia plumbing though and we just kept the bathroom door shut so was no problem at all.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast very delicious! Employees are friendly!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good, hotel is clean and the room is comfortable
Cons: Internet is very very slow, too slow. Bathrooms are outside the building

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable, spacious rooms. Amazing view from the terrace for sunrise/sunset. Breakfast was good.
Cons: Wifi was terrible, pretty much didn't sustain a connection throughout my 3 day stay. Other businesses in Bagan didn't seem to have this issue.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly and helpful staff. Rooms look new, comfortable and super clean. The view of the sunrise with balloons from the rooftop is astonishing. Great location too.
Cons: The internet connection was not very good but like anywhere else in Bagan.
7.1 Good
Pros: The restaurant at the hotel rooftop is awesome for sunrise and sunset seeing.
Cons: I was waken up by the noise of pray broadcast since earlier than 5am and it’s painful.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: All the staff was extremely politely, helpful and kind. They answered all our questions and requests. Specially Joshua, the guy in the reception is specially nice and speaks a very good English. They allowed us to take a shower before to take our night bus to Inle Lake with no extra charge and they stock our backpacks during our last day in Bagan without any extra fee, although the check out was already done. The big terrace, were the breakfast is served is a great spot to see Bagan and the morning balloons.
Cons: Everything was perfect. If I need to add any “less good” point... would be that next to hotel there are no restaurant or stores... and it’s in a very calm area. However the main road is very close and you get there in less than 4 minutes walking
7.0 Good
Pros: The staff were very helpful. always with a smile. they make sure we were comfortable staying there. we had a few complaints about the room and the staff changed room for us right away. keep asking us every day if we were ok. loved looking at the balloons going over the hotel while eating breakfast every morning.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was overly sweet, helpful and accommodating. I wish i could remember their names so i can thank each of them. They were so nice and friendly.
Cons: The location was a bit far from the attractions (but i sort of knew that already) and it's not an actual street. It's more like a dirt road. I also didn't like that the breakfast was always cold.
