9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location and great service.
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: everything is top notch for this hotel
Cons: non
7.5 Good
Pros: Arriving at the property was very pleasant, no hussle with parking car and receptionist was very frindly. The location in the city within the park is just spactacular, having afternoon tea or Champagne is wonderfull, also having breakfeast outside is very pleasant.
Cons: Staff in the restaurant was not efficient and we did get served wrong wine and the temparature of the wine was not satisfying, and getting sugested by the staff to put ice in the wine is not appropriate, and every wine lover will be not impressed by this. Breakfeast was disappointing, service slow and do not expect a perfect eggs benedict, it was hard boiled and not enjoyable, also the frsh fruit selection was poor. The room was small, do not expect any digital gagdes, this is very old style rooms and the wall paper is very colorfull and interesting. Bathroom need to be redone, in such a small bathroom having a bath, is not up to any standards and was mmy biggest disapoinment in the Hotel.

Pros: Everything, hotel is amazing, sure I ll repeat this wonderful experience
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel and really great service!
Cons: Nothing at all.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location. Lovely gardens. Beautiful setting. Good hotel gym. Very good breakfast (though at 41 euro, not cheap).
Cons: I was in Baden Baden to do some mountain biking. Being sweaty in shorts and a sleeveless tshirt made me stand out like a sore thumb in this hotel. At 53 I was pretty much the youngest person there other than a small number of well-groomed wives of much older husbands and a few people in their 20s holidaying with wealthy parents. Could really do with an outdoor pool. Terrible night's sleep on first night due to church bells from 7am.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing beautiful chateau filled with art and mesmerizing beauty everywhere you look the rooms were excellent with a breathtaking views of the black forest Sacha the concierge was amazing and oh my god they have the cutest cat « cleopatra » We enjoyed every second of the stay The spa was amazing as well
Cons: One thing only that i didn’t like they don’t have a night menu for the room service and since all restaurants in the town were closed we couldn’t order food past 11pm. That was the only disturbing part of our stay I wish they can upgrade their menu
9.2 Excellent
Pros: - the hotel has a nice unique style - staff all are great and helpful - Restuarant and bar are good with high standards - location is amazing - parking is close by and always easy - overall amazing experience and wonderful choice to go for
Cons: - the rooms are not so quiet between each other, you should expect some noise - AC is not perfect as I’m used to a colder room when I’m sleeping
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location; set in parkland but only a 5 minute walk into town - and its a beautiful walk next to a stream. Hotel was very traditional in style which we liked, perhaps a little tired here and there but spotlessly clean and felt cared for. Bed was comfortable. Don't bother with breakfast - walk into town where are some great little cafes etc. we found near the Casino (BTW we went to the Casino one evening but wouldn't bother going back - it might have been the place to be in 1965 - but not special now!).
9.6 Excellent
Pros: everything was top notch. spa, restaurants, room. the atmosphere is from another era with a modern twist. The best location in town by far and so peaceful. will be back.
Cons: The pilows were a bit on the soft side for my liking otherwise nothing to fault.

Pros: Excellent spot. Free parking. Super clean, superb location. Relaxing surroundings. Gorgeous balcony with superb view to the mountain.5 star breakfast (one of our best to try). Sensational and professional staff. Warm atmosphere.
Cons: Perhaps a bit expensive, yet this is something subjective. Otherwise it is a great accomodation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location on the B500, the staff were awesome, friendly and couldn't do enough for us.we had secure parking for our motorbikes and a brilliant evening meal at the neighbouring hotel
Cons: Absolutely nothing to dislike
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing...
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable with a warm welcome and wonderful service. A small stream ran past the back of the hotel, creating a relaxing sound of running water. Comfortable beds and an upgraded bathroom. We had a family room, which was on the top floor of the hotel with 2 adjoining rooms and plenty of space to spread out and relax. The price was very reasonable compared to some of the very expensive hotel prices in the city itself. We had a car, which made accessing the hotel easy- I saw a bus stop next door, so I’m sure you could access it via bus from Baden-Baden. Hotel adjoins a spectacular walking/hiking area- we took a 3 km round trip walk to a waterfall along Panoramaweg”. Easy and beautiful walk in autumn. Breakfast was delicious- cold meats and cheeses and other spreads, sausages, eggs (boiled and scrambled) fresh fruit salads and yoghurt, pastries, various breads and spreads and freshly made tea and coffee.
Cons: We loved most everything about the property, however there are rooms on 4 levels with no elevator. That didn’t bother us, however may be an issue for some, although the hotelier offered to assist with carrying luggage up to our rooms.

Cons: Nothing
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable beds, unexpected and lovely included snacks, spacious room, easy underground passage to Caracalla, walking distance to core Baden Baden, pleasant staff. The best place we stayed the entire trip.
Cons: A minor thing but truly awkward for friends traveling together is the window looking directly into the shower from the bedroom. Is it supposed to be sexy? I’m not sure it would be even if I was with my spouse. Don’t let that stop you from staying here though, the place is fantastic.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Underground on site parking. Good location 5 mins walk from town. Rooms were good size and well serviced. Staff were excellent.

Hotel Heiligenstein - Baden-Baden - Building
4
9.2 Excellent (840 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hotel Heiligenstein in Baden-Baden, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Casino Baden-Baden and Geroldsau Waterfall.
7.5 Good
Pros: Wonderful location, but the room was a little cramped and showed some style over substance - for example the shower with a curtain round the bath, rather than a modern shower room, proved a little difficult to negotiate for those of advancing years. Meals very good.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great stay in Weineslust Room! The room was beautiful, the toiletires and cosmetics provided for the bath are a big plus. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The restaurant offers great breakfast and make sure you book it for dinner - the food they served is delicious :) Offering a bottle of water during check-out "for the road" was a great little gesture.
Cons: The toiletries were only provided for the first night (one shower gel, one body balm, one conditioner, one shampoo) - enough for two people for one night, but during the second night, we have nothing left :( The restaurant "design" is not perfect - a bit cluttered with all glasses and not fitting to the rest of the hotel The Wellness area was mainly closed and poorly equipped (gym has only cardio equipment)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel in the countryside, dinner and brunch there was fantastic, staff super friendly
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A delightful hotel and restaurant in a village within easy reach of Baden-Baden. The room was comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were friendly.
Cons: The restaurant was very popular and as a result parking in the evening could be difficult if one returns late to the hotel.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful setting and cuisine was excellent! Staff were courteous and helpful.
Cons: Location was a little difficult to get to and construction in small residential area made it challenging.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was our 4th visit, the staff are excellent, the rooms very comfortable but the restaurant is exceptional. Some people might find the hotel "remote" but it is ideally situated for a walk in the nearby hills, vineyards and the village has several restaurants if you chose to go out. The restaurant has an exceptional menu and the food quality is superb
Cons: Nothing !
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Run by the Chef/Proprietor and his wife it was very personal. Though dinner was a set menu it was quality local produce served in an interesting way. Breakfast was also a generous selection of dishes.
Cons: The views were perfect, the hospitality couldn't be faulted, there was nothing to dislike.

The infinity pool on top of the hotel is lovely and so refreshing. The staff were excellent too - in particular Paul who kindly looked after us :)

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: The bath/shower
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, well furnished, large and clean room, friendly and helpful stuff, fruits and snack in the lobby.
Cons: We booked basic triple room that was meant to have one single and one double bed. The double bed was very comfortable indeed while the single bed was actually а starched sofa, quite firm for sleeping.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good all round
2.9 Mediocre
Cons: One of the worst stays I have had in a while! Very dated furniture and ambience, seemed as old as the lift inscription of 1973. The room I was given was obviously some kind of suite many decades ago, with a boardroom style table and chairs, looking like some medieval furniture straight out of a medieval castle in the Black Forest. Then the contrast of a brand new modern sofa opposite, a TV that could only get certain free channels, even though the hotel was connected to Kabel. The WiFi was slow and weak, since the room was on the fifth floor and the lift only went to the fourth! You had to go up a steep staircase to get to the fifth floor. Not safe or convenient when guests have heavy bags or a suitcase. Towels were stained, furniture and beds did not give the feeling of clean or cosy. Silly little single and summer thin duvet covers, which barely covered me, even though I am a very slim and slight lady. The young guy at the reception desk that night clearly had no real desire to be there nor was he dressed in any professional way. I would have believed it, if I had walked into some student accommodation. He seemed insecure and unsure how to deal with my complaint about the broken sink. The room should have never been let out to any paying customer! It was certainly not worth 79,00 Euros. Apparently, the hotel was fully booked, really, where?! The breakfast equally was not worth 9,50 Euros! Nice assortment of fresh bread rolls, but cheap nasty tasting jam in big glass jars. For that kind of price, I would have expected decent quality jams and honey, as well as Muesli and fresh fruit, not tinned! The coffee was way too bitter and strong and came like the water, out of a second rating machine! When will hotels learn that it is absolutely paramount to offer freshly brewed coffee or even a cafetiere, boiling water from a kettle for teas! These machines rarely use boiling water, it is tepid or lukewarm, which never makes for a good coffee or tea!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a lovely place to stay with a truly beautiful location amongst vineyards. The rooms are very large and comfortable with excellent showers and beds/bedding. The staff are welcoming and professional in equal measure. The real stars here are the food and wine which are first rate. A highly recommended stop over that is great value for money.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Grand schloss but rooms in modernised annexe well appointed
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful vineyard. The restaurant in the castle was fabulous
Cons: Wish we could have stayed in the castle. Couldn’t get the A/c to work. Probably due to user error
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Service and food in restaurant
Cons: Couldn’t find a reception but staff found us and were very helpful
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly owner and staff. Amazing food!
10.0 Excellent
Cons: insulation between rooms is very bad
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff were amazing, we spoke to each one of them and they were all helpful and let us understand more about the area. I liked the idea that the place is linked to a winery. We went there the next day and had wine tasting and bought some even for ourselves. Wine was so good! The location was 15 mins away from baden baden which we knew already, and that was something we liked actually. Being in Baden Baden all the time is not that needed, we could see the whole city in 1 day. However being in the country side, in this hotel helped us relax and enjoy the scenery around.
Cons: Air conditioning was a bit loud and not working well at night. I could feel the room temperature was slightly hotter than the outside even. Room was OK, we might have gotten a smaller one than usual but it was convenient for our 1 day stay.

Pros: Very clean and nice room. Very comfortable beds. Family room fits for 2 adults and 3 kids easily. Very friendly staff. Perfect breakfast buffet.
Cons: The way from the Autobahn was longer than expected.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location was quaint but in a sizeable hotel and close to nearby sites.
Cons: A bit of a mix-up on my part was reserving a room for one person instead of two.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A very comfortable spacious hotel in the heart of the village with lovely views across the vine-clad slopes. It was quiet at night. Fortunately the bells on the neighbouring parish church are silenced between 10pm and 6am. A happy stay!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I don't often write reviews but this hotel went far beyond my expectations. I travel frequently and have stayed at many hotels rated 4 or 5 star so I feel I am a good judge of hotels. This hotel rates 5 star in all categories - friendly staff, cleanliness, good food and overall ambiance. I stayed in one of the rooms with a balcony. It was huge with a very comfortable bed and plush linens. The balcony was large and overlooked a church and a vineyard on a nearby slope. The balcony even had an enclosed gazebo so you could sit out there in a rain storm. It was a calming, peaceful environment. I wish I had had more time to stay there. The staff was amazing, spoke perfect English and were always willing to help. The food was excellent in the restaurant. Our efficient, charming waitress was very helpful in describing the dishes and suggesting wines to go with our dinner meal. More perks included free parking and a plentiful hot breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable room, very clean. Excellent staff. Great breakfast. Wonderful dinner experience in the hotel restaurant. Lots of parking. We would stay again if in the area.

Pros: Enjoyed our dinner served and prepared by the friendly Greek landlord and his wife.
Cons: The curtain in the bathroom was inadequate, especially as our bathroom overlooked a courtyard below. The lights above the basin in the bathroom were not functioning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our stay here, it was absolutely the best service with the kindest staff. We were expecting Baden Baden to be a bit snobbish, but the staff here were very down to earth and extremely welcoming. We asked them if they could do a bit of laundry since we had been traveling for a week, and they agreed - free of cost! We offered to pay multiple times but they refused. The actual bed + stay was also very comfortable - comfy bed and warm shower. Couldn’t have asked for anything more! Thank you :)
