Pros:The location for the price was great.
Cons:One of our beds was made with a dirty duvet cover. There was little concern by staff & no follow up.
Pros:The Initial greeting by the staff was very nice and accomodating.
Cons:Had a confirmed reservation for a King Room- was told there were not any. How did I get a CONFIRMED King Room reservation then? I was told and ENCOURAGED to use the shuttle into town (versus UBER) so I told them the address (basically just south of downtown) and then was told the shuttle would pick me up at the Marriot (2 hotels north) not a bad walk really, waited about 20 mins (again NOT the end of the world) when the MARRIOT shuttle arrived, I told the driver the address, and he emphatically in a PUT OUT TONE told "I don't go there, ONLY DOWNTOWN!" Well, Barton Springs & Congress IS pretty much downtown. I said, "If your folks would have just told me that I'd have gladly taken UBER instead of taking a 10 minute walk and waiting 20 mins for your shuttle to meet my friend for dinner." So he says" Ok I will take you" with some negative tone and then after he "checks in" at the Marriott downtown he tells me he'll drop me off but will not be returning to pick me up, by the way I was told the shuttle runs till midnight. So I took Uber back to the hotel......again NOT the end of the world, I just don't need the aggravation of making me late for a dinner date with a friend. The people checking me in were nice enough, but they KNEW the restaurant I was going to and should have known whether the shuttle went there or not. I likely will not return to this hotel because of this. I've stayed at the Omni nearby many times and rather than stay another day at the Courtyard, I just moved over to the Omni for the remainder of my trip and had dinner in the restaurant with a client and drinks in the bar and slept in a KING room.
Pros:Super clean, super comfortable room. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy access to downtown. Would absolutely stay here again.
Pros:Our room was clean, well maintained, and quiet. The rate was affordable overall we received excellent value and service.
Cons:We would have preferred that the dining/bar area owned earlier than 5:00 PM.
Pros:Great space and location. We had a king bed plus it cake with a pull out couch! Will definitely book the next time and refer to friends. Thanks courtyard!
