Location is great
Hotel manager was extremely rude and unaccommodating. Hotel room was old unkept and dirty. For almost $400 a night that hotel room should've been pristine.
Preparing for the summer season.
Walking distance from boardwalk and casinos. Nice view. Comfy bed.
No coffee in room. Toilet paper holder fell off wall. Hallway needed much improvements. No adjustable shower head. Most common areas were closed, for renovation ahead of summer season.
the water pressure absolutely terrible!! how do you expect a person tp take a shower under trickling water?
My husband and I loved the fact that the entire hotel is non-smoking. We were right next door to the Tropicana which was very convenient. it was nice leaving after our stay and not having to walk to a smoke-filled casino to do so.
OK stay but not worth the weekend rates
The Chelsea main tower location was clean and the valet staff was nice.
The halls and elevator are very dated. The weekend rate was way too expensive for the overall condition of the hotel.
Shower was the only issue
The shower had no water pressure and there was no hot water
Hotel was dinghy
Friendly staff
Things were falling off in our room that heater broke while we were in there the door wouldn't open with the key card ever lots of sounds in our room coming from the air vents loud people in the hallways at all hours of the night the smell of marijuana in the hallways somebody was jiggling are knob we had to evacuate not a good stay
So so tired hotel
The lobby and rooms were just tired. Bed was comfortable with nice bedding but the decor needs updating. Everything was clean. No coffee maker in the room or free coffe in lobby was disappointing. Seems that is standard in most hotels now. We had almost no hot water both days.
I love the room it was clean and comfortable
The room smelled like mold and cigarettes and we were on the non smoking side. The room door was not sealed good so the wind in the hallway made it seem like someone was trying to get in, so we had to place a folded piece of cardboard in the crack of the door to stop the noise. The shower head sprayed so wildly I had to shower with my back to the shower head which wet my hair up. Smh! Not a good stay!
Good for a one night stay
The comfort was second to none n cool decor.
TV was terrible n nothing to do in that area except the Trop. Was never told in advance about security deposit.
Atleast they had great access to the beach.....
The facility had great access to the beach, a beach bar, and a relaxing roof top pool with bar. Rooms we're a good size.
Staff members were not very welcoming. They weren't mean or rude, but didn't seem like they enjoyed their jobs or the guests. Older hotel so not many elevators, but what made it worse was when the service personnel put the elevators on hotels on hold during the busy mid morning. The hotel needs renovated badly. The hallways had stains on the carpet and the walls looked dirty. The rooms had damage to ALL the furniture which is weird because they make you put down $125 security deposit if damage is done. Sooooo if people are beng charged $125 when they cause damage then FIX the damage! Not staying there again. I'll pay a little extra to stay at the Tropicana.
