Okay, but nothing to write home about.
I was extremely disappointed that the people in the room next to mine began talking loudly at 5:00 am and continued to do so after I waited and hour before calling the front desk. Despite being told that they would speak with the guests, the loud talking continued, and I was forced to cut my trip short. I was really looking forward to sleeping late having had an extremely long work day the day before, but that did not happen. I checked out at 7:00 am and drove three hours to be able to get some rest in my own bed. At check out, the staff was rather indifferent about it all. In addition, I was disappointed that I had to pay for a full day's parking when I left two hours after checking in and again the following morning when I left early because I was unable to get any rest.
Spacious clean room
Parking was hard and expensive Not many amenities (breakfast) for price paid)
Staff was friendly
Took them three times to give me the room I paid for. Paid for a deluxe room with king mattress and at first for two full beds no deluxe, then a handicap room with a king mattress, and finally the correct room the third time.
The room was nice, felt comfortable and clean. It was good access to downtown and Piedmont Park.
Although the bathroom door was neat, it barely serves its purpose-privacy. Having a real door would provide better privacy to use the restroom. There was a significant gap in between the wall and the door. A ventilation fan in the bathroom would be nice. Not all rooms have a great view, but go outside and there it is.
Best location near music midtown!
Comfort, convenience and location!! So many good restaurants and bars in the area. Short walk to Peidmont Park for the festival and so many breakfast choices in the morning and after hour bars on the way back to the hotel. The staff is very accommodating for middle aged professionals.
Hard to book during the festival, but price keeps the clientele at a higher standard.
Comfy Bed, but
Bed was very comfortable and room was nicely updated.
Being located across the street from a very busy downtown fire station was annoying. $30 parking was steep considering price paid for room.
Great, friendly staff
Noise & amenities
Location was convenient.
Noise - walls are paper thin. Loud guest noise in hallway and elevator area. Amenities. Had to ask for shampoo, etc. Coffee was not replenished.
Great place/location to anything
Close to anything. Enjoyed my stay very much
Some areas had strong smell of marijuana or weeds.
Great location. Perfect rooms.
I arrived only to be told that they had over-sold that evening and that they could not honor my reservation. They moved me to a lesser-quality hotel up the street for the same amount of money.
Very friendly staff but there was dried blood on my sheets. Needless to say, I was unable to sleep comfortably after finding the dried blood in the sheets.
The staff was able to make suggestions about the surrounding area.
The lounge was not open and it was a Saturday evening.
Convienent to High Museum and midtown.
You have to park on the 9th floor of the parking deck, even though it was a weekend and no one used the first 8 floors!
No wireless internet. As a business traveler, I would not select the hotel again for this reason.
Located really centrally in walking distance to the most important sights in Atlanta
I was charged a higher rate than my booking was for and the staff was unfriendly and incompetent when I tried to fix this. They said booking.com tricked me.
location, reasonable price
charged internet, bathtub is not clean
The parking is expensive
The room service coffee was terrible. Other food was fine.
Convience to Marta and Midtown staples
Air conditioning did not work well (we had it set on 40 the whole weekend, and it was like 70), pilliows were small and square and quite uncomfortable
I've always appreciated this hotel for the central location. It's perfect for doing anything in Atlanta. Polite staff
This is my first stay since the change from a Wyndham property to Hotel Midtown. What a disappointment. The state of repair and upkeep is deplorable. The fitness center is not secure and equipment is substandard and in poor repair. The rooms need to be updated. They are dingy, smell old!. Bedding needs to be updated. The current state of this hotel does not reflect the cool, urban Atlanta scene that attracts so many people. Staff were generally polite but made little eye contact with guests. Housekeeping does a great job considering what they have to work with. Not many hello's, how are you today.
Good Location, near the subway. Restaurant available, though a little expensive.
