The location was perfectly placed in the heart of Asheville with an amazing roof top bar.
The price was high, but fair for its location
Very upscale and awesome location!
Excellent view of the mountains and city!
We each received a complimentary glass of Champaign upon check in and a small jar of local honey upon check out. Staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. The bed was so comfortable, extra pillows on each bed, ample number of bath towels so I had an extra for my hair and my husband still had a bath size towel. The room was spacious with lots of natural lighting (we had a corner room) and wonderful views of the mountains in the distance. Shower head was awesome. Valet parking was prompt and courteous and only cost $17 (+ tip). (I recently stayed at a competitor and paid $50!)
There is nothing we did not like about this hotel. We did not like the number of homeless in the city of Asheville, but that is a reflection on the City, not a reflection on the hotel.
The room was absolutely amazing. The staff was polite and very helpful and accommodating. Perfect location. I would stay here again.
The hotel restaurant was understaffed. The hostess told us tables were reserved, (but they were not) but when I spoke to manager he told me the kitchen staff was behind and the wait staff was very busy and they couldn’t handle any more people to be seated. In my opinion, hotel guest should have priority seating. It was a cluster as I watched everyone working. This really aggravated me so much I was going to walk out, but my husband told me to calm down and stay. Then I noticed food delivered to an empty table. Then later I noticed staff eating food from this empty table. All this going on before we even got drinks or food. Bar screwed up a drink twice and we asked to take off bill since they couldn’t make the drink correctly. Unless something drastically changes I WILL NOT be eating at the hotel restaurant!!! I do think the hotel was slightly over priced for the accommodations. You could stay at a Hampton Inn cheaper with similar or the same accommodations.
