Guests say
Guests consistently praise the hotel's excellent and convenient location, friendly and professional staff, and the cleanliness of the rooms. Many found the beds comfortable and appreciated the welcoming atmosphere. However, several reviews note that the hotel and rooms feel outdated, some found the rooms and bathrooms small, and a few guests were disappointed by the lack of certain amenities such as a pool or personal fridge. Despite these drawbacks, the overall impression is positive, especially regarding service and location.

Pros (+) Great bed.
Cons (-) Location is not good - no local character. Pretentious - with no good reason.

Wonderful
Anonymous, Sept 2017
Pros (+) The Ritz-Carlton is what we dreamed all our previous hotels would have been. The staff, facility, rooms, food, location, and atmosphere could not be improved. In addition to a beautiful property with excellent customer service, the Ritz-Carlton is literally steps from the Pentagon City Metro station. They treated my children like kings and made our stay well worth the price. The search for lodging...
Cons (-) I cannot say I did not like anything. Even the small logistical issues we had, that come with children, were fixed above and beyond expectations. The staff over-compensated for any issue that arose during our stay. Others should learn from the Ritz-Carlton model.
