Pros: We really liked this place. Our room overlooked the back garden which was very pretty. Beds were comfortable, shower good, nice breakfast room and very good range of breakfast options for a small hotel. Excellent location and very friendly helpful staff.

Pros: The location was excellent! The rooms were quiet, clean and tidy and it was wonderful having the garden with the two tortoises. What most impressed me was the staff who were caring and informative as well. They really went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. After telling them I was vegan they provided extra breakfast items for me. It was a pleasure to stay there.

Pros: Las torres de ugartes is a very nice hotel. Clean, very helpfull staff, cosy, nice beds, good facilities and at a good location. The staff was really nice, helpfull and flexible. My boyfriend got really sick, so we had to extend our stay, which was no problem at all, and we didn't had to bother about the checkout-checkin time. We arrived at 5.30 in the morning and could get our room right away.

Cons: The only advice I have for the hotel is to put a sign at the reception/lobby with asking if people will be quiet during the night, because it's quite noisy. One night a French group arrived in the middle of the night and they talked really loud which woke us up, while we slept on the second floor.

Cons: The door to our room (206) faced the stairs down to reception. At night we were frequently woken up by the buzzer, the slamming of the heavy front door and people talking in the lobby.

Pros: We found La Casa de Ana to be ideal for our stay in Arequipa, with its spectacular views of the surrounding volcanoes from the pretty roof terrace. It is situated in the quietish area of Yanahuara, but within easy walking distance of the old city centre. Our room and bed were spacious, and although the decor is a little tired in places was otherwise well cleaned. The plentiful breakfast was served on the roof terrace by a very attentive couple who couldn't do more to help, which can also be said for Sony whose suggestions on activities to do during our stay were invaluable. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Pros: The staff were very helpful especially Sunny And the views from the breakfast terrace were fantastic
Cons: The price standard price per room was $50 per night we were charged $135 due to a convention in town, and as this was part of our planned holiday it was not possible to change our dates The bathroom was tiny and there was a terrible smell from the drains each morning, which we did mention to the staff.

10.0
Pros: My two nights stay at Casa Tintin was great, very comfortable and welcoming. A lot of this goes to the exceptionally gracious host, Anita. It felt like being at a family member’s home and being treated with warmth and care. Anita shared with us all the things to do in Arequipa, she made us pancakes for breakfast because we are vegetarians, she called the taxi for us when requested and on top of it all, we were checking out earlier than we had booked for so she didn’t charge the full price of the room. Anita and her staff do a commendable job at taking good care of their guests. The room was great, very comfortable and clean. The volcano views from the room’s window are incredible. The location is under the Eiffel bridge which is a pretty cool spot. We walked over the bridge too and it was a fun walk. Anita speaks perfect Spanish, French and English so it’s so easy to connect with her and communicate. Overall, my best stay in Peru so far.

Pros: It was secure and the rooms were well back from the road.
Cons: At no time during our stay did we have hot running water in the shower. The bed was smaller than a standard double. Upon check in, we were handed 1 x large towel, 1 x small towel, 1 x toilet roll and 2 bars of soap. My partner and I were expected to share towels- unacceptable!
