Great Location

The shower was always hot and the room was clean.

The beds are very hard and it was odd that the housekeepers had their child with them while cleaning.

This property is convenient to the Michigan campus, and close to area highways, so it makes it easy to get where you need to go anywhere in the area. Not very fancy, but clean and comfy.

The structure is an old fashioned motel, so room doors face the parking lot. That was no problem for me, but might be for others.

Clean, helpful staff, housekeeping replenished everything we needed, TV worked and had cable channels

wifi was spotty, the deadbolt on our door did not work and part of the surround around the deadbolt was ripped from the wall, inability to manually control the a/c

It is a budget hotel with a good location close to downtown with a short bus ride.

Some of the guests liked to drink beer in front of their rooms that was also in front of our room and in the morning, we came across many empty beer bottles or some guys drinking at 9am

We have stayed there before(2 yrs ago ) and really enjoyed the location and service,

Believe it or not,the first hand towel I used had a drizzle of dried blood on it! I actually checked to see if my hand was bleeding, but it wasn't..when I looked closer, I realized it was dried...not so good,but I understand laundry can be difficult...

Very convenient for people going back and forth to the university of michigan med center and hospital only 2.2 miles.
