Great location, good breakfast. Didn’t eat in the restaurant though. The first time I stayed there, the restaurant was closed, due to staff illness and for the second stay, had already discovered great places to eat in the town. Very good central location in Angers. Whilst the hotel has no parking, there is a public car park right behind the building. Overnight parking is around €2.50 depending on when you arrive and when you leave. On the first day, got there at 12:30 (just after midnight) on Tuesday morning. Didn’t move the car until 7am Wednesday morning, paid €12. Overnight, was paying between €1.70 and €2.50. Rooms always cleaned well, very comfortable. If I’m in the area again, would almost certainly return to this hotel.
The policy on tea and coffee in the hotel is blurry. The coffee and tea machines are in the restaurant / bar area and are always on. Seems that you can get a drink at breakfast, was also told during day, help myself, but one evening was actually asked my room number and was charged €2.50. Not clear if it was free or to be paid for. There are no tea/coffee facilities in the room, so having this available is a must. Just needs to be clear
Good location, comfortable, reasonable choice for continental breakfast. On street parking had confusing pricing, but off street parking behind hotel in car park was typically €3.60 to park between 17:00 and 08:00. Location to centre of Angers meant great access to local restaurants, which was fortunate as hotel restaurant not open.
Unfortunately, the week I was there, the chef was ill and there was no restaurant at night. Bar snacks were available, but no full restaurant.
Well situated to town centre. Excellent hotel and good breakfast.
Double charged me when I was already settled the payment. I have to use extra time to clarify that I had already paid the full payment and request for refund because of their mess.
The Hotel is in an excellent location, just a short walk from a free car park over the other side of the river. The Hotel was clean and quiet with a comfy bed and a hot shower. Angers is a beautifly city and well worth a visit.
