Nice hotel , staff needs some work
Was locked out of my room with my 6 yr old in the hallway for over an hour .. Key cards had to be redone twice a day .. it got really aggravating after 5 days ..
The friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the room, the breakfast buffet was incredible, the internal architecture and design was so modern and sleek, the bed was amazingly comfortable, and the hotel is located in an amazing area.
I wish they had a swimming pool! :-)
It was cheap.
No breakfast, very slow wifi, elevators antiquated, rooms small and not comfortable.
It was okay
Charged for parking and no room for parking staff did not communicate where to park. Heater would make large banging sound. Neighbors were loud.
We enjoyed our recent stay at The Sheraton. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We really appreciated their pet policy and their welcoming attitude to our fur-child. We will be back!
Alaska is a beautiful state. Those who are visiting the city of Anchorage will want to find a quality place to stay whether traveling for business or for fun. A good option is the Sheraton Anchorage Hotel & Spa, which provides many different amenities for guests who choose to stay there. Located on the eastern portion of downtown Anchorage, visitors will find it easy to reach many destinations from this property. English, Tagalog, and Spanish are spoken at the hotel, which was built in 1979.
All of the rooms at the hotel and spa have views of either the city, the mountains or of Cook Inlet. Rooms have many different types of amenities. They have air conditioning and heating, as well as daily housekeeping. Rooms have private bathrooms, phones, pillowtop mattresses, and a coffee and tea maker. The amenities can differ from the traditional rooms and the suites.
Travelers will enjoy the on-site spa, which offers a variety of treatment types. The hotel also has places to dine and drink, including JADE, a steak and seafood restaurant, Ptarmigan Lounge, and the Starbuck’s Coffee Kiosk. Some of the other amenities include the conference space, the 24-hour front desk, and the meeting rooms.
Guests can visit one of the nearby parks, such as Russian Jack Springs Park. They could visit the Museum of History and Art or the Egan Convention Center. Plenty of dining options are available in the area, too, including Lucky Wishbone, Burger Jim, and Peggy’s Restaurant to name a few.
