The Hotel was well located near to Amstelkade Tram Station. There are many restaurants and a grocery store near by. Upon request for a ground or 1st floor room, the authorities did arrange for one. Convenient to catch the Tram connecting to Centraal and Schiphol and other tourist site.
The rooms are compact and hence there is minimal place to move around. Wish it was a little more spacious.
Very close to Amstel Station and there is a Febo that is open till 3am near by.
The toilet/shower was too small for adult person to use it.
The Chinese gentleman on the desk was more than helpful , he gave me lots of free refreshments cause I was early for my check in , he went above and beyond to make sure I could get into my room asap and is a massive asset to the hotel he really did go out of his way to make my sure my stay was excellent , going to book same hotel next time I go , location brilliant , tram links in to dam was 90 seconds away restaurants , shops and supermarket were all less than 2 minutes away , would highly recommend it , staff and service excellent,
Staff were rude especially the manager. Felt like he just wanted us to leave when we checked out and needed to stay in the reception area for an extra hour to kill some time before our train. Tiny shared bathroom. Staff were miserable and rude. Soap wasn’t replaced at all - went 3 days in a row of an empty bottle of soap. Not the best location. All in all very poor value for money. Would not stay here again
On a good tram route and the staff were helpful and friendly and spoke great English, the place was clean and there was no que for the shower/toilet
It was quite far from the city centre (half hour tram journey), and as the window was in the ceiling and the blind was broken, it was very light in the morning
