We were sent to another hotel after having prepaid. There was nothing to like.
We prepaid for our stay, and upon checking in at 3pm we’re told the hotel was full, but they booked us another room at a different hotel which we would have to walk back in the opposite direction with our bags. They volunteered to cover the city tax for us for the inconvenience, making a big deal about how generous that was of them), however, when we tried to check out of the new hotel, we were told we would still need to pay city tax. They called Hotel Estherea to see if they would honor their promise and they refused. It took multiple phone calls and a great deal of time and hassle before they would agree to honor their original promise. Far too much time and trouble to deal with from a hotel that I prepaid for. I had read a similar review before booking but thought maybe it was a one time thing. When I was actually there it felt like a regular routine they might be up to, taking prepayment for a room, then booking a room at another hotel at a lower rate and pocketing he difference. Stay away.
