Smells bad non pool
even though area was old, it was quiet & parking was secure. rooms updated and very nice & clean. Great value off the beaten path. we would come back.
location was definitely in old Amarillo along old route 66 (duh, motel name)!
The bed was extremely comfortable! The check out process was extremely easy and they were able to correct an error made in booking that I was too tired to deal with at check in.
Housekeeping didn't look in the cupboards, found a bag from the previous guest. There were wires hanging out of the wall where the outlet should be -looks unsafe. It stunk of burnt plastic or chemicals as I walked in. The bath towels were like drying off with sandpaper.
The were super friendly. They even gave me a salt shaker that says route 66
