Beautiful grounds, lovely staff, great hospitality, great location
The bed- The mattress kept slipping away from headboard (was not attached) and headboard leaning towards bed away from wall.
Breakfast on the terrace was excellent.
The only problem was that the TV in thermo did not work and could not be fixed in the time we were there.
Historical villa/chateau with comfortable rooms and beautiful interiors, swimming pool and spa. About 10-15min walk from the center of Aix-en-Provence. Relaxing atmosphere, heated swimming pool allow you to use it even in autumn. Place to relax and enjoy time alone or together in a romantic getaway. Car parking available.
Terrible Internet. Also you need to wait at the gates each time you go out until smb let you in. Room service is available for breakfast only. During my stay lunches were not available in the hotel, but I was offered salads or smth light instead.
Magnificent beautiful Hotel with well appointed rooms, wonderful friendly staff, great food and wine
I loved my stay at this beautiful hotel in Provence. The staff was incredibly kind, helpful and extremely professional. I felt so taken care of throughout my stay. The property is gorgeous and so tastefully decorated. It's like a little oasis just outside Aix. I loved the pool-area as well as the terrace for breakfast. I would love to come back in the future as I really enjoyed my stay at this gorgeous property.
The only thing was perhaps the food... I found the breakfast buffet to be incredibly small for the type of place/price you're paying at this hotel. They could have definitely had a bigger and more diverse breakfast spread. The coffee was also really bad (but most hotels don't have great coffee unfortunately...). The pool menu as well as the room service menu were incredibly small as well and there was not a lot of variety, which makes it hard to stay in at the hotel even though you would like to since it's so beautiful and charming. They do have a proper restaurant at the hotel but sometimes you just want to eat something in your room and I wish there was a bigger menu for these occasions. It would also have been nice with a shuttle service to go into the city centre. I stayed at another 5 star property near Aix in the past, who offered this, which I thought was very clever (even though it's not a particularly long walk). But overall I loved my stay!
