Comfortable, welcoming and clean. Nice pool.
Nothing really to dislike
The location was very close to beach
The sofa bed was not a bed it was a couch no hair dryer but said there was 1 shower was very poor had to hold the head to shower the sink was poor plug hole didn't work no balcony room was like being in a basement this is never a 4 star no cooking facility dissatisfied for the price
It is really nice hotel in quiet area but close to the beach (around 5-10 minutes walking), close to restaurants and local supermarkets. You can see that owners take good care of maintenance, everything look fresh, clean. Room was very spacious and decorated with good taste. BUT! Please pay attention, beds are connected to the floor, so if you have two single beds, you can not connect them together. Hotel has nice swimming pool and garden. What I found really nice is fact that owners let us leave our bags after check out. We had late night flight and left hotel late afternoon, spending whole day on the beach. Owners let us used shower, refresh and we have received fresh towels. Owner tried to give us some good advises about traveling through Creta, that was very friendly. I would definitely recommended this hotel. It was not our first time and Greece and this hotel was the best that we have stayed. Prices are very fair. Big compliment for grandson of the owner. Very friendly young man, who can speak English (which makes things easier to fix). He also helped us out with our heavy bags.
We had a misunderstanding with owner, our fridge wasn't work properly. It was quite a tension about this subject (first discussion wasn't so friendly) but in few days we have received new fridge and we have found it as a good solution. In general I think we could avoid this situation, but we left with good impression. Rest our small requests (like shower issue) was solved very quickly and friendly.
i loved the room it was very spacious and quiet and the location is near enough to the town and beach but not too close so that its noisy, the family run hotel is friendly and mr aquarius owner is helpful ...i often saw him helping people with their bags to their rooms and he is not young and yet he still maintains a welcoming stance. i was curious about their history that i kept going to the lobby to talk to him and he always smiled and i figured he had a sense of humour and a happy disposition
the studio apartments are generally well equipped but there were no teaspoons in our room and a few more cups and a sponge to wash dishes would have been nice although i think if i had asked them they would have been forthcoming. so this is not so much a complaint but an observation
It is exactly what it looks like. Cozy, quite place with nice big enough pool, sun beds and natural shade in well maintained garden. Room was simple, clean and we liked the design of it. Hotel provids breakfast (we didn't use it, but looked nice) and cleans rooms every other day, which is an extra bonus for this kind of accommodation.
Kitchen could use a bit of an upgrade, very few utensils, sometimes only one of each (glasses, plates), small hotel-style fridge and no oven, just a simple stove. The tub water is not drinkable, so bottled water needs to be brought from the shop down the street. For someone with health issues or mobility limitation, possibly a bummer. Staff is friendly and helpful, however English not being their language, more complicated issues are harder to discuss.
