Couldn't ask for a better locarion. Views over ocean and divers.
Very run down rooms. Really in need of a refurbishment.
the view was excellent. the elevator was a new experience. the food was very good. i really like the relax ambient.
the room was not ready when we check in at 5 pm.
to be nearby the Cliff-Jumpers and seeing them several times :-)
Great lokalization and amazing views on the ocean and La Quebrada.
Views of the high cliff and the Pacific Ocean from each individual room balcony are unique and spectacular. One can enjoy the professional cliff divers perform their routine while having lunch and dinner at the hotel restaurant(s). There is no need to purchase tickets in advance to see the divers perform if you are staying as guests at the Mirador Acapulco, since the Hotel is part of the Perla Restaurant. There are also nightly music performances for dancing at the Restaurant. The hotel staff are very accomodating and friendly. They provided excellent services. No problem with language communications as most administrative staff do speak English.
The hotel is old and could benefit from some renovations. It can easily be modernized and beautified if in the hands of a great manager, because the hotel has great potential. Also, due to the high altitude at which the hotel is situated, one has to climb many steps to get to his/her room. However, it's the high elevation that adds beauty, romance, mystique, and serenity to the hotel surroundings and this, by itself, more than compensates for the lack of modern appliances or conveniences that you would expect of this self-rated 3+(?) star hotel. If you cannot climb many steps, then this hotel is not for you. Also, there is no internet access at the hotel (the current public internet console on the premise did not work).
Mirador Acapulco is located in Acapulco and is close to Acapulco Bay. The various facilities this modern hotel offers include an outdoor pool, a 24-hour reception and a sun deck.
Mirador Acapulco has been recently refurbished and features a concierge, babysitting/child services and a currency exchange. In addition, the multilingual staff are on hand to provide local information.
The hotel has 139 well-appointed rooms that are equipped with a variety of essential amenities to ensure guests have a comfortable stay.
Mirador Acapulco offers an on-site bar, where guests are invited to enjoy a drink either indoors or on the outdoor terrace. There is also the added advantage of an in-house restaurant.
For guests who enjoy exploring local dining options, there is a good selection right on the doorstep. Papagayo Park and Isla de La Roqueta are a quick car ride away.
