Osrodek Szkoleniowo-Wypoczynkowy Dafne

Place is located in nice and close surroundings of the railway station and center of the Zakopane. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable. Nice staff.

Formely we were checked in a room in front of a storage room where staff were smoking cigarettes. Smell of nicotine spread throughout the corridor as well as our room. Luckily we were relocated on a different floor. Water in the shower had low pressure, which hindered free use of sanitary facilities. Sounds of conversations of people in the neighboring room can be heared - rooms does not have acoustic isolation. Canteen does not have enough capacity for such amount of guests, we could barely find a sit space during breakfast. Also breakfast itself could be more varied.

- hotel is old and needs renovation: in the bathroom mold was present, some walls in my room need to be plastered - there is an old elevator making a lot of noise/ vibrations, even though my room was not too close to it, it disturbed my peace - my room was close to road, which is quite busy with cars, trucks - the curtains were not blocking the light, besides there were a curtain too little (so not the whole window was covered).
