The location was great, and nice atmosphere in the hostel. Private parking was also appreciated
The hostel is on the very edge of the city centre (2 minute walk max.) located through and archway, but still had some private parking spaces (need to pre-book). We were able to book a private double room with and en-suite bathroom, but there were also dormitory rooms available on other floors for people on a budget. Breakfast was a basic but fresh and cheap in the dining room in the basement. There were also vending machine facilities, common room and games room available. The wifi connectivity was good. The receptionist had very good english and was very knowledgeable of the places to see and places to eat.
Katrina was very helpful and friendly. The room we had ( deluxe room with private bath) was great. Location of hostel is walking distance to all attractions. There is also free parking.
The entrance to the hostel was not what I expected it to be. The building next to it was half torn down, for a moment thought was in the dumps.
Pretty clean, comfortable bads, ok stuff
This place feels more like a storage for people then hostel. The building is strange, there is a school downstairs and it all looks like a former office building of some kind. If you're looking for a hostel vibe, I'd recommend you finding a different spot. Bathrooms for women are really bad - no privacy, anyone can enter as there are no locks and the second sink (2nd floor) is a joke as doors open directly on a person standing in front of it.
Perfect location downtown near everything you have to visit in Zagreb, competent and nice personnel answering to all requests and making good suggestions for local restaurants, very clean and quiet
With a stay at Hostel Bureau in Zagreb, you'll be a 5-minute walk from Ban Jelacic Square and 7 minutes by foot from Dolac.
