No Yukata allowed in dining room, whereas T-shirts and slippers are ok. Very noisy crowd in the onsen.

Stayed at Sierra Hotel June 26-27 2019. Service was super attentive with email communication and help on using public transportation as well as food allergies. Overall it was an outstanding visit.
If I were to find any negatives it'd be the bathrooms, but not a major complaint. They were still very clean but just had a little sewer order which seems to be somewhat common in Japan. FYI, my kids never noticed the odor. The only other communication would be about the onsen use. maybe a little more information on how to get the robes at front desk and use room towels. I couldn't seem to find that info in their well written guide inside room but maybe I missed it. Overall, I'd be very happy and willing to stay here again over other onsens in Yuzawa. I absolutely agree with 9+ rating!
