St John's Lodge (Incl Off-Site Health Club)

Staff were all friendly and lots of nice touches that made us feel welcome. Would highly recommend

Very welcoming and attentive owner and staff. Brilliant rooms, comfortable beds, lovely breakfast, very well situated between Windermere and Bowness. Would 100% reccomend and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Nothing to dislike

Very friendly staff throughout the stay, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely, the bed was so comfy didn’t want to get up! Was in a brilliant location 5-10 minutes (if that) to either Windermere or Bowness. Highly recommend to anyone.

Staff is really friendly and helpful. Good location and clean rooms. Also, guests can use health club facilities which are great.

The property was clean, spacious, they had many options for breakfast which was a key factor, as i didn’t want to all ways have the same breakfast throughout my stay here at St Johns. It was also very quiet up on arrival.. John greeted me and my girlfriend first thing as we walked through the door, they also did everything I asked as the weekend stay here was a surprised birthday for my girl friend. It was all ways warm throughout my stay here. The conversations between us and the staff were all ways flowing and they were very helpful to helping myself find our way around Windereme and bowness. Bed and pillows were so comfortable we didn’t want to leave it. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. Cleaned daily and new towels supplied. Honesty box for a mini bar good idea when you want a midnight snack or drink.

I really can’t write anything bad about this property, it was worth every penny staying here. And I would return very soon it was that outstanding
