We had a twin room and it was a good size. The room was nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was well appointed and clean. We had some drinks in the pub downstairs before heading out and it was a good atmosphere. It as short (10 minute) walk into town through a residential area and once you get there the main sights are close. We were provided with a parking permit for the on-road parking which was very convenient.
We lived the bedroom. The decor was very nicely done. The bed was really comfortable and the shower strong and hot. We had a nice lunch in the pub, which was good value.
The location is a way from the centre and pretty much in in the middle of a housing. It takes about 12-15 mins to walk in - and it was chucking it down. An Uber cost £6 - which isn’t too much.
The location was good and the food was amazing!
Excellent place, very clean and tidy, lots of thoughtful amenities, quiet, cozy, comfortable. Amazing place all in all, will definitely return when visiting Winchester again.
Easy walk from the railway station. Good choice for dinner for the pub's menu.
Nothing really. Everything worked as expected.
