A beautiful location. Friendly staff, good service and homely atmosphere. Tastefully refurbished throughout. Also, very good bar food and the option of a smart restaurant. Our room was spotlessly clean, cosy and comfortable, with a lovely view of the village church opposite.
There is no lift, although this was not a problem for us, it could be for others.
Friendly and attentive staff and excellent food. The room was comfortable, well equipped and spacious.
Excellent hotel. lovely rooms, hotel is warm and welcoming
The welcome was friendly and warm, staff excellent an overall relaxing and self indulgent break we were upgraded to a suite, food excellent will definitely return.
food was very fast, excellent service, felt very welcome, fantastic hotel, down to earth owners, prices was very fantastic
very efficient and extremely helpful staff super breakfasts. excellent bar meals in both quality and value
it was quiet! not many guests were there at this time of year so the quietness was relaxing.Room was nice and comfy and clean.Staff were on hand all the time and friendly, but not over-friendly. Breakfast was very nice.
loo didnt flush easily and bathroom was very cold (but it was cold, very windly and snowy outside)- radiator didnt get hot but another portable heater was in the room so we used that. Also, no bath, your website said room with bath and shower. some vegetarian asubstitutes to meat at breakfast would be a good idea as alternatives to sausage and bacon.
The friendliness of the staff, nothing was too much trouble. The management were also friendly and approachable
