Friendly staff. Clean. nice view. Pool. Tea things in room. Nice towels. Good breakfast. Nice Dinner. Good decor. Well lit room. (210) Plenty of storage.
The bed was too low. Mattress was terrible, very lumpy. Not much room to move around.
Need lights outside along by 121 onwards
Absolutely wonderful stay. We don’t live far from the hotel will be booking again very soon. Breakfast was amazing.
I’m afraid to say, nothing much at all. The bedroom and shower room was okay.
When checking in, the receptionist gave us our key and we went to have a nap. When I was in bed and settled, that same receptionist walked in and I wasn’t even clothed. She said something about not expecting anyone to have been in there despite the fact she had literally just booked us in and given us the key. Highly embarrassing. On our first night, there were a group of guys staying in the hotel and were noisy all night outside the doors to everyone’s rooms. They were drinking, smoking and had dragged furniture outside to sit on etc. They were not dealt with and we did not get to sleep until approx 4am which happens to be the time we got up the morning before when we drove down from Scotland. It happened again the 2nd night and when we called reception for it to be dealt with, nothing happened. It wasn’t until I went out myself that they stopped. Having to confront a group of men late at night, in pyjamas when you are female is highly intimidating and shouldn’t have been required. The WI-FI didn’t work either and to top it all off, there was mouldy bread the 2nd day at the breakfast buffet. As I write this I then remember being happy there was a pool so I could go for a swim but after going down to the pool and finding it full of sand and dirt, decided against it. We did complain about all of this and asked to speak with a manager but were told no manager was working that weekend and she would be in contact with us the following week - no communication has ever been received. I paid for 2 nights bed, breakfast and swimming pool and got 1 Part night of sleep, 1 breakfast and no sleep.... worst money ever spent.
Newly refurbished room and reception area. Freshly laundered bedding and towels. Hot shower, tea and coffee facilities. Modern heating appliance. We had a meal and a drink in the restaurant which was very good. Friendly staff. We never had a chance to use the leisure centre, but it looked fine. Fantastic view of the bay.
Being woken up by our noisy neighbours at 3am having an argument, but this was in no way the hotels fault. The outside of the hotel requires a coat of paint.
