Food was ok/good.
Decoration, beds. We are walkers and were mainly there to start the coastal path to Lulworth Cove- a very famous walk. None of the staff could tell us much about the start point, how the walk is... A tip for the owner- perhaps an idea that your staff has done a bit of this well known walk or at least can provide some info about it... This hotel is used by Exodus as a starting point for this walk and a rep meets Exodus visitors there... Perhaps an idea to learn from their guests about the walks in the area....
the breakfast was perfect no complaints whatsoever
i was a bit disapointed that i did not get the ground floor room i was offerd i would have payed more never mind i coped quiet well thank you
The hotel was lovely. Staff very friendly and nothing was too much no trouble for them. Service fantastic. Bar staff really nice. Food was enjoyable.
Shame there was no entertainment. More people would have stayed in the hotel in the evening if there had been. The function room is underused. I would suggest theme nights with some entry fees on a Friday night. Raising money for charities would be a good idea to not only boost takings but to show the community you support them. It's a good advertisement too.
Room was quite small and noise from next room TV was loud the 1st night. Could even here the occupant snoring over the TV they had clearly left on and fell asleep too!!! But 2nd and 3rd night good.
