I liked the fact that there was coffee and biscuits in the room.
The floor was crooked, and the the light not very strong. It was a bit gloomy in the room I would suggest to change the light.
Only thing good was breakfast was brought up to the room on time in the morning.
Very difficult to find. Terrible communication. Per the check-in information upon booking there was a 50 euro fee after 2000 for “late check in”; due to public transportation problems out of my control we arrived to Venice at 1900. We ran through the city to get to the hotel to avoid the fee. Only to discover it isn’t at the original address provided in my booking information. I had two very kind locals wandering the neighborhood to help us find it, for two hours and no luck. Tried calling the number listed several times for the staff/owner and turns out it wasn’t a valid number. VERY frustrating and felt like a scam. Apparently, the owner sends you an email the day of with the exact address and screenshots of images for directions, and the instructions for self check in, no staff is onsite (very irritating to learn). This email process is not explained on booking. I was unable to check my email all day due to no internet being on buses in remote areas. Sketchy business operation in my opinion. Also, the room did not appear as the pictures in the advertised information on the website, overall it was mediocre at best. After this fiasco I read reviews from other websites on this place, to find similar experiences. Wish I would’ve researched more before booking. I’d advise to pay a little extra for a more legit arrangement than deal with the frustration of this place.
Amazing view from the rooftop terrace (we had the large penthouse), excellent location, large space, good wifi, comfy beds, A/C
No fridge or tableware :( The breakfast needs a large coffee pot ;) Also the penthouse we stayed at is not at Per S. Marco as it is written here! If you use Google maps the right street is Calle delle Acque (which we liked better). Luckily we had wifi so we could contact the staff who kindly gave us the right address!
Great location 2 min walk from Ponte Rialto and similar walk to Piazza San Marco. Great breakfast, good air con unit in room, great value for money in the heart of Venice
The stay in Venice was very special. The room was simple but cosy and in a very great area. It was very central and easy to get around in the town. Mr. Fernando was extremely welcoming and booked us in and a lovely restaurant that we wouldn’t have thought to ever go the food was divine and very reasonable. Thanks for the recommendation and the lovely stay in Venice.
