The location was great
The smell was horrible and almost knocked you out as soon as you stepped foot into the building. the room size looked like they took one normal sized room and split it into two. all the exterior doors were locked only the front door was accessible. For breakfast you could have a waffle, stale bread, snack pack pudding or stale cereal. The towels barely covered my 5 year old they were so small. The doors to the rooms didn’t seal all the way so there was light coming in around it all night long. Parking was impossible to find. And the entire hotel is one giant maze so pay attention to where you are or you could get lost.
Wifi didn't work at all. Smelly halls
the room smelled horrible
The room smelled horrible the trim on the walls was off in most areas it felt very unsafe with people yelling in the halls I checked in at 1:00 am slept in my clothing answer was out by 9:15 am you also charged me a $50.00 DEPOSIT that I was told would be credited at check out that hasn't been credited yet?
the pros and cons of the days inn / Southern Hills
I liked the location and they were the only hotel that I could book that late in the evening.
the reason they were easy to book is because the place is a total dump, Vibar emitted smoke into the hotel rooms, the office bathroom emitted tangent odor into the hallway, the noise was terrible and we could not sleep, the knob on the sink was broken and I had to fix it so we could use water, the construction company had tools laying loose around the hallways, the continental breakfast was toast yogurt cereal and juice. The yogurt was warm at 40 degrees.I have never had to put a $50 deposit down on a room while paying cash just for them to go and inspect our room before we could get our deposit back.
Food left in the fridge from previous person. Beds worn out. Bathroom had mold in it and was tiny. We did not stay. When we told the clerk we wanted our money back and why he argued that some I the staff clean better than others. The neighborhood was very run down as well as the building itself. Would never go there again.
