Staff are very friendly and speak English. Very close to Asagaya station, (the trains can be heard but the sound didn't bother me personally, the convenience was more important). The Asagaya area has some AMAZING restaurants.
The cleanliness was fine for an old hotel. There was some black mold/staining in the bathroom. The biggest problem was the air conditioner unit, it was covered with dust (it seemed like it doesn't get cleaned regularly) and it made loud noise constantly, even when it was supposed to be powered off. The laundry room is a convenient feature, the washers are fine but the dryers take way too long to actually dry the clothing....and I sat down to wait and the chair gave me splinters!

Very close to the station. A lot of restaurants around and a supermarket next door.
Can hear the train and the station announcement at mid-night but the noise level is acceptable.

Very close to train station (immediately adjacent). Small shopping complex nearby with good options for breakfast on the go, excellent baked goods. Location serves as a good access point for anyone wanting to go shopping at Nakano Broadway.
There are limited proper attractions in the area. This location is good for proximity to other areas via train however if you want to get food at any of the local establishments outside of the train station/shopping complex, you'll need basic Japanese language skills.

The location right near the station with a mall nearby, comfy bed, full range of toiletries, nice decor and good lighting in the room. Spare pillows if you need and you can choose which type you like.
Only green tea provided. Would be great if they could provide English tea and instant coffee like some hotels do.
