I liked that there was a hot tub for use and that the staff were wonderful.
I didn't like that my room didn't have any proper window (a very thin, foot wide window on the side) so it felt a bit locked in.
If you are able to value simplicity this place is for you. Common ares were really clean (toilets, showers, kitchen) and the staff is really nice. Cold and hot drinking water always available in the kitchen. Air conditioner was efficient and quiet. The location is very good, near to the subway station where from you can take many different lines so easy to travel to different parts of the city but the area itself is not the most interesting. Also easy to reach from Narita airport by train/subway-connection.
the wifi was quite unreliable, did not work all the time. The walls of the room weren`t as spotless (but worn down) as the other areas in the house.
Clean friendly relaxed
it’s an old style, wooden building, it’s nice.
The room smelt on mould. It was terrible and very unhealthy, provoked my allergy and I could not stop coughing. they don’t care to keep it well aired and mould-free. Futon was very uncomfortable too. I booked only because I had to stay late in the area. For the same money you can get a decent hotel room but not on Saturday night when the prices usually double. That’s why I booked this one.
The bedroom was a beautiful traditional Japanese style room with excellent facilities. The staff were all very helpful and the location was excellent. If I visit Tokyo again I will definitely book a stay!
Nothing, it was excellent value and exceeded all expectations.
