Good amount of convenience stores nearby, as well as a small local food store and restaurants. 3 hangers available for use + heater/humidifier in dorm makes it p nice indoors. Many tables available at cafe area for work as well as electronic sockets.
Around 5 min walk, 8-10 including crossings from jr station. Gotta run when there's rain - not a lot of cover on the way. only 4 showers available on 1 floor for 3 dorms, each with 8(?) beds, so gotta shower early if you don't want to use the shower after someone else since the exhaust fans are really weak > wet and humid changing area
The beds were quite comfortable, with good set of available amenities.
The room was very minimalistic, a little bit more space would have been great.
The overall vibe and decor was nice and clean, beds were comfy. The rooms were equipped with an air purifier plus a fabric spray to freshen up your clothes, and each occupant gets her own shelf space to store jackets, etc. The location may not be very central, but I liked that it was on a quiet street.
The absence of paper towels on the women’s floor. Instead, we were expected to share a hand cloth which may have been replaced daily but it’s still pretty unhygienic. The 6-bed female dormitory was pretty narrow with little room for a large suitcase; at full occupancy it would definitely be a squeeze!
Love the common area!
This was my third time that I stayed here in this hostel. And upon checking in, the hostel staff remembered that I stayed there before. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Every thing in this hostel is well thought, from the rooms, to the showers and the common areas. Just 2 minutes walk from a Metro station which makes a perfect base when exploring Tokyo.
I just stayed for 2 nights during my last stay, I wish it could have been longer!
