The onsen is superb, staff 's friendliness and services are good.
Room is too small.
The hotel is in a residential/commercial district so the area is very quiet over night. There were plenty of convenience stores around and some nice small restaurants recommended by the hotel. The hot spring is lovely after a day of sight seeing and the mini bus to the station was very handy. The hotel is also immediately opposite Hatchobori station. The staff were all very pleasant. Hot coffee on tap in the foyer all day very good. Despite the comments below we enjoyed our stay here.
Like many Japanese hotels the rooms are pretty small. However we did manage 11 nights with two of us and two large suitcases - just about. We were here during Typhoon Hagibis and spent the day in the room which meant that we moved the bed around to make more space - it was clear the bed hadn't been moved for a long time and clearly hadn't been hoovered in all that time.
Room was well designed with lots of nooks, corners and shelves to house your bags and purchases. There were lots of choices for the hot springs n hotel is very thoughtful to arrange the washing/drying machines in the spa. Although we selected a room with no cleaning towels were still provided in a bag hung on the door for us. I love the breakfast. There was wide variety of food. There was even sushi with ikura.
Close to metro line. The onsen was a cool experience and the hotel gives out free ramen every evening.
The hallways and room smelled quite foul. Was far away from everything we wanted to see in Tokyo and required a lot of trains to get around.
Take care of my luggage/bags/belongings before check-in so that we can visit attractive locations immediately.
