Pros: The boutique hotel is amazing! I love the room and the location. The staff are very helpful! For the breakfast you got two options, one intercontinental and is Chinese style! You can pick one you like. Also I can choose to go to the restaurant to have your breakfast or ask the staff to bring to your room. What else, you have a free tour with a professional tour guide to the QingWangFu for a visit. And the tour takes around 30-40mins. Worth to go!

Pros: The location is perfect, simply in the heart of the Wudadao Area, where you can take a wonderful walk starting to any direction you want. The neighborhood is quiet and clean at dawn and night, which is quite the contrary to its daytime. The place is beautiful and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. A guided special visit to the main building is even a surprisingly bonus to its guests. My family had a great time here, and we will come back again next time in Tianjin.

Cons: Strong cigarette smell from room and corridor. Enforcement of non-smoking policy is weak. Also one of the main reasons that we decided to stay in Shanrigla was because of its indoor swimming pool. The pool was not in operation and we were not told in advance of the situation. As a golden circle member, only 2 fruits were offered as a welcome gesture. I am wonder if the value of the golden circle member only worth 2 fruits.

Cons: The cleaning staff kept ringing the doorbell when the do not disturb sign was on. I am pregnant and was trying to sleep. When I didn't answer the reception kept calling my room...I told them they should not disturb people and just leave a note under the door as most hotels do. Eventually they left a note saying please let us know when to clean your room. They should have done this originally. The woman at reception said,"but it is past 12 o'clock, we need to clean your room."That's not usually how it works in a 5 star hotel :( Also thought they might offer us a free breakfast as we told them we just got married, but they didn't :(

Pros: As with all Westin properties, the bed was amazing, the lobby is grand and inviting, but honestly, that’s about it
Cons: It’s... shabby. Nicotine stained and in need of an upgrade. Our room was fine at best, nicely laid out but not clean. Even with good conversational Chinese and even after the bathroom had been cleaned a second time it was still dirty. Hair and mold in the bathroom, zero attention to detail. Common areas were similarly poorly cared for, the carpet by our room wasn’t vacuumed properly, crumbs everywhere. Staff were nice but more concerned with trying to end my polite enquiring and conversation with them than actually trying to change anything.

Cons: Booked a room including breakfast. But was denied of entering breakfast hall by staff. Even upon showing breakfast confirmation, I was told by the staff that my stay did not include breakfast. Cons: Some staff at reception desk have very limited English. The view from our room was very nice but it was spoiled a bit by the dirty window glass. The cleanliness of the rooms was without any fault otherwise. The breakfast food selection was strongly geared towards guests from Japan.

Good location, walking distance to Tianjin high speed rail station, The bed is comfortable, and the room consider clean, we satisfy with the breakfast buffet as well. Cards from local "girls" slotted under the door but it didn't bother us anyway. Staff let us check-in although we arrived before 2pm, no language barrier as we could speak mandarin. Excellent value.

Cons: We easily spot the building but the main door is small/old and hidden. Staffs are good but the whole check-in process was very slow although there was only 2 customers before us. The lock of the toilet door is broken( not only my room ). Beware of the taxi which stopped in front of the hotel, the driver ask for double fares to fetch you just a short distance.

Cons: Rooms do not look like the ones on the photos. Bathroom ... well dirty towels, toilet so close to the doors you could barely walk in the bathroom. Together with my friends we traveled for month (almost 7000km just in China) and I can say that this hotel was the worst of all of our accomodations we had during our trip in China.

Cons: The woman who we spoke to when we checked in was extremely rude. We told her we had a party of four, and the room was advertised for a party of four but there were only two towels. We asked for another blanket at some point because the room was cold and she told us there were none. The room barely resembled the photos uploaded.
