Probably the only hotel that still charges for wifi.and they removed the doors in the dressing area of the bathroom. No privacy
the resort was pretty and scenic
too any steps
As always the grounds and service are great
They renovated the room from a half wall with salon style doors which gave an semi open concept and feel, very unique,to a full wall with no doors which now makes it look just like any other hotel room
This property is unique and lovely. Great views with a feeling of being in the mountains was something fun and different. (The stairs are also a great workout). As others have mentioned, it could probably use a renovation in the rooms, but where we stayed we felt our room was nice enough. If is a bit pricey, but I usually expect that at a resort hotel. Not sure if during off season it is priced differently but I would assume so and expect it. Another reviewer mentioned that they charge for parking... I agree that with the rates they charge, they should be giving complimentary parking. They did in fact comp our parking (not sure if it was due to being a Marriott Bonvoy rewards member) but it definitely made us happy. The dining experience was good. Serving staff was polite and personable. Very accommodating. We will definitely be staying again on our next visit, hopefully in warmer weather so we can enjoy the pool area.
Nothing major at all to dislike. Stay was pleasant and comfortable.
Not much really.
The property seemed old and a bit dirty. Arrival was disappointing - nobody helped with bags. Reception was dismal and beside a noisy bar. Rooms were beside a busy highway and noisy trucks. Rooms seemed old and not to the level of high price charged. More like a motel. I could go on ....
