Neat and pleasant premises, comfy room. There wasn't real cleaning of the room apart from changing the towels (which wasn't necessery), not unbearable for the stay of four nights. Excellent location in the nearest of the port and passanger terminal, short walking distance to the Old Town. Breakfasts were really excellent for omnivores ;) As a vegan I had to rely on bread and jam (very good), so it would be nice for the hotel to introduce more options (just tofu or vegan sausages would do), the trend has been becoming big recently after all!
Little vegan options for breakfast, the room not being cleaned (minor downsiedes though).
NOT so polite om the bar. It is NOT necessary to get new Towels every Day. It is NOT good for the clima and our Earth .
The day staff created a lot of unnecessary confusion and unnecessary hassle for me. I booked it for 2 nights, but mistakenly thought it was for 1 night when I was there. When I checked out after 1 night, I didn't realize I booked the room for 2 nights. And they didn't bother telling me I had the room for 2 nights. So when I checked out, they gave my room to someone else for the 2nd night. All this confusion and hassle could've been avoided if the staff would just confirm with me when I first checked in that I booked the room for 2 nights. It is so simple. Almost every hotel does that. It's standard procedure. I attributed all this confusion and hassle to poor communication skill on part of the staff. Not poor English skill, but just poor communication skill. BTW, I didn't find the day staff too friendly or helpful either when I tried to clear up the confusion.
