The Staff were helpful and accommodating. For example, when I told the front desk that my room smelled of cigarette smoke, they changed my room immediately. Another thing I liked was the breakfast, which was plentiful and tasty.

In terms of decor, furniture and general appearance, the hotel is like a relic from the 1970s. My initial room reeked of cigarette smoke, and there was a general musty smell in the corridor. I was so dismayed with the hotel that I left after two days and booked into another hotel.

Rude customer service. I was told I will only be charged for local calls if the lines were connected but this was untrue. The hotel still charged me NTD100 for engaged phone calls made to Starbucks. @ Taipei 101! No calls made at all but were being charged was really ridiculous. The rooms had moldy smell and the towels had unpleasant smelly. There is only lift and is miserably small with NO sensor. I cannot imagine if this only serving lift is out of order!!?? I am also very surprised the hotel is still using door keys to all the guest rooms in this era. The curtains were not hung properly,. I booked 2 rooms 2 months ahead and the 2 rooms were very far apart, 1 on level 3 and 1 on level 7. I feel the management should inform me when I made the reservation. Poor arrangement and management. Very disappointed. Only good point I can give is the room is spacious. Overall, the whole hotel is very old and needs a serious renovation.
